Generally speaking good Middle Eastern singers are pretty adapt at performing those types of runs. Where they differ is how they deliver it. Iranian artists for example are very receptive of world music and are very good at integrating this style of singing within say, western style. They tend to use these runs conservatively, whereas Arabic singers for instance, are much more elaborate and it tends to be the highlight of their performance. Anyway, Iranian music is much more diverse than you may imagine, so please keep exploring.
