Singer/Songwriter FIRST TIME EVER HEARING FORESTELLA - BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY - REACTION 

I would call them harmonious and dramatic. You can tell that people are very familiar with this song, nobody started clapping during that long pause at the end.

Forestella is an incredible group. You must listen to “Hijo de Lune”, “Je suis Malade”, and “Nella Fantasia”, amongst others.

Thank you for your tremendous reaction to Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; a survival audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! And they broke the record of their own with Lazenca Save Us winning 4 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs 2! Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist & rock vocalist with soprano falsetto voice), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, one of the semi-finalists from Voice Korea 2, rough-textured husky tone with R&B, Pop groove). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. Ko WooRim said they met more than 300 days together in Phantom Singer All Stars behind interview but in a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in 2020. So I think this explains how their perfection executed.

Thanks for the response. Of all the cover songs I've heard, the Forestella version is still the best version for me. It seems that there were very few singers who perfectly performed ballad, opera, and rock genres all close to the original song. It must have been possible because four people with different tones and different singing abilities were together. I really like this cover song, which has been recreated in their own style without losing the essence of the original song. I think the possibilities of their wide range of vocals are endless. They actually complete an amazing variety of genres in their own style. Please keep an eye out for how witty and wonderful he can arrange, how deeply emotional he is, and how many different styles he can digest.

I think it's very cool that Freddie was fascinated by - greatly admired - Opera Singers and here a trained operatic Lyrical Tenor sings the bulk of his main vocal line. So great. You know Og3ne also did this song?. Look up their home isolation version. All 3 sisters and 2 musicians filmed their performance separate at home and later the 5 video's are added together and still sounds amazing.

Hey Brad! I comment very rarely, but may I drop a suggestion for you... With the latest developments in the world, I think you just must react to the first Fink Floyd drop in the last 28 years. The song is Hey Hey Rise Up, and it features Andriy Khlyvniuk, lead singer of Ukrainian band Boombox, who had ended his US tour to join the national resistance against the military oppression. I really hope you'd enjoy this composition on its own, but it would be great to hear your take on his voice and what Pink Floyd did with it by complementing it with their music. I would be really happy if you'd react to it.
