Stan had a rough time for awhile... his daughter passed away, then he was hit by an illness that almost took him out and when he finally recovered he didn’t even know if he would be able to continue as an artist... but he rose up stronger than before. ❤️🙌

He has been through a lot in his life, which is covered in a documentary here on youtube, well worth a watch. Listening to him sing the song I've suggested above brings tears to my eyes. Stan is very special. A true overcomer. He has no stomach as he inherited a genetic gene that causes stomach cancer and has killed a lot of his family. He too was found to have cancer and you can watch his journey on his you tube channel. His life story reflects thru the power of his singing. He tangata kaha, he toa nui.
