Hi Brad, it seems like you don’t know the BTS members yet. The vocalists who sing the high notes are Jimin (also a good dancer) & Jin. The English rapper is the group’s leader, RM. The 2 other rappers are Suga & J-Hope (also a good dancer & choreographer). The vocalist with a deep voice is V and the lead vocalist (& dancer) is the youngest in the group, Jungkook. In this song, the first two who sang together (with the low and high notes) were V & Jimin, and then it was Jungkook & Jin. RM, Suga & J-Hope rapped but also joined in singing the refrain (yes, they can sing, too!). I know it’s hard to remember who’s who but if you watch more of their music videos, you’ll eventually become more familiar with them. 😁
UGH JIMINS VOICE IS EVERYTHING! That mans voice is a gem💎Like Jimin(white crystal gold mic w cute bowlcut) has the most unique vocal color and range. He has such a beautiful and quite distinct vocal timbre. His pretty vocals add a new layer of flavour to every song and he can pull off any type of style or genre. Jimin is one of the finest vocalists in the music industry. That man is just in insane vocalist. One of a kind. I could listen to him all day. His voice just heals me and gives me sm comfort. Like how can someone sing like that? Overall they all sounded and looked amazing👏🏼
Like always, all the BTS members did really excellent job with this wonderful song but Jimin’s beautiful, crystal clear falsetto high notes throughout the song is just cherry on top! It is no wonder that British music lovers who doesn’t know much about BTS are still smitten by Jimin’s beautiful voice that many of them were talking about ‘the guy with bowl cut hair & angelic soprano’ to ‘the little boy with bowl cut & white shirt who sang like an angel’ & praises BTS & their brilliant performances! 💜💜💜
They all sounded AMAZING. I luv Jimin’s(the silver mic)voice. I started bawling when he sang. That mans voice just touches my heart and the emotion he puts in it. He’s an insane vocalist! I’m absolutely proud of the vocalist jimin has become. This was the person who had to sit outside the room while other members were getting vocal lessons just so he could get some parts of the training and practice on his own😭

I loved hearing Jungkook and Jin together. Normally Jungkook gets the higher notes but he took the lower part and Jin's falsetto carried beautifully over the top. Such a treat! They all killed it. I just adore these boys.
Jimin, 3rd from the left is singing those high notes that sound so similar to Faith Evans. Jin, 3rd from the right was also singing those high notes throughout the song. They did a wonderful job.
I like to watch this video especially Jimin’s vocal, his voice is so angelic and like full honey, I really feel better when I listen to his voice, Jimin always brings to a lot colors in every song insanely, sound from the heaven. I am so glad you caught the I'll Fly Away verse. Jimin beautifully sings the high notes, but don't discount Jin. Jin is right up there in the stratosphere with him. Jungkook is also a great tenor and their lead vocalist. Don't forget V a baritone who also can hit the high notes. RM is an incredible rapper as well as the amazing Suga. And remember Jhope is wonderful as well. The rap line can sing, and the vocal line can rap. They are all astounding musicians.
Jungkook is the one and only main vocalist, have best technique in the group and is best vocalist of kpop, the most stable and attractive voice. He can pull off every genre hit high notes or lower notes effortlessly and perfectly. he is main vocalist and this position defines it enough. He is irreplaceable.

I have heard of BTS a lot of time but never really listened to any of their music. I'll be missing you was my first time listening to them and i was so amazed. The guy who sang faith Evans part killed it . And that day i researched the BTS member Jimin's history and i found out he's a great dancer. I perfectly understand the popularity of BTS now.

They sounded great. Not as creepy as the original Police version. I heard a female rapper use the Police version as the intro to her rap, which she was using to show how much her boyfriend loved her. Boy did she miss the point of the song. I have also heard Major To Minor sing the Police version in a minor key, making the music sound as creepy as the lyrics.
I don't think you get it cos this wasn't a cover of Police's song "I'll be watching you" so don't get why you compare it to that song. This was a cover of "I'll Be Missing You" by Puff Daddy featuring Faith Evans & 112 which was written in memory of fellow Bad Boy Records artist (and Evans's husband) Christopher "The Notorious B.I.G." Wallace, who was murdered on March 9, 1997. If you read the lyrics to "I'll be Missing you" it's not creepy at all. It's a tribute song to someone who has passed so the context is very different. It only samples Police's song.

I’ll be Missing you” even won a Grammy for Best Rap performance by a Duo/Group and a Billboard award. Sting gets 85% credit and is listed as one of the song writers of the song. Anyway, the point still stands ; this was a cover of a “I’ll be Missing You” and the context, story, lyrics and intent is different from the original so the comparison to the original doesn’t fully make sense. Bts changed the lyrics too but it’s a “cover” in this case since they didn’t include it in any album, or try to monetise it even though they changed a lot of the lyrics and even included Korean. Know the difference! ✌🏼 PS: It wasn’t “Replacing one word with a different one out of all the lyrics” It’s very clear you haven’t listened to the original “I’ll be missing you” Literally none of the lyrics are the same as the Police one ‘cos the entire song is a rap song written in the memory of B.I.G. It ain’t just the “watching” that got replaced with “missing” as you think buddy. 😅

Can you please react to all of BTS albums and mvs in order? There is a playlist of BTS media material on HYBE Labels RU-vid channel that you can go through along with the albums on their respective release dates. I really recommend you do that because it really helps you understand BTS attention to detail and how their music and albums comes in story arcs/sets of albums! It’s really cool to experience fully! If you have any questions regarding good places for lyric translations or what this one video means or something just ask! Also, for their early music videos there aren’t subtitles but you can go on RU-vid and find places that have their mvs with English subtitles.

The band is ghost! They do a lot of the instrumentals for bts albums and sometimes tour with them. You can see more of this style with the live band on their tiny desk concert.
The “culprits” for the high notes are Jimin and Jin: third guy from the left is Jimin, and Jin is third guy from the right. Tae (second left) and Jungkook (Centre) took the lower parts in the chorus and also they both did some high ad libs. The other three are rappers, but took some lower parts in the harmonies at the end. 🙏💜

As he doesn’t know their names and couldn’t name Jimin he said that’s the culprit for the high notes, which meant that the guy who is singing the high notes. He didn’t mean anything bad it’s just an expression.
@@vine1976 What they mean is that it is all good if he was pointing out Jimin, but he got confused and said the high notes were Tae. Was he even paying attention? Not cool since the highest notes were clearly Jimin or third one from the left ( since he doesn't even knows their names).
