So glad you reacted to this one - it always makes me feel so happy and upbeat. I agree about Mitch's lower register, and unless you are listening for it, you often don't catch him doing the complex middle harmony between Scott and Kirstin in many of their arrangements.
The example of his beautiful lower register that most struck me was in their cover of Aha's "Take on Me"... the first time I heard it, I thought it was Scott singing that part until I finally realized that it was still Mitch!
The trio did musical theater. Avi said he never got into it because there were no parts for basses and of course Kevin was strictly an instrumentalist pre-Pentatonix.
This is in my top 10 for them. I love this song, always have, I liked the original a ton, but I love their version (especially with the video and their amazing smiles).

Thanks for going back to this one Brad. It's so fun! I too so enjoy Mitch is this part of his range, all parts of his range really. Yes, the swagger is fun too. Plus Kevin came up with such great sound effects and beatboxing for this one. Great drop into the really dance-able part too. Then Mitch slowing it back down for the ending. Such a great cover. I want to be friends with them too.

Hello Brad! Thanks for doing this. This is one of my favourite PTX music videos. Great arrangement, vocals and videography. The only thing better than PTX singing is PTX singing AND dancing.
