As some one who has always gotten by on some natural talent, finally putting some work into vocal training at 42 is bitter sweet. Wish I would have put more work in younger. Thanks for the help, enjoy your videos.
Gosh, it's such a helpful and informative video ! Been struggling to get the rhythm right! Can't thank you enough for this! It has made my work on this run much easier ♥♥♥ THANK YOU, ROZETTE!
Awesome job thank you for this lesson, now to take it on stage while playing guitar!! 1:28 The packages 2:13 sing along 3:37 packages altogether 4:59 glottal stop 5:44 warm 7:00 The Rhythm
It was easier for me to remember your 3rd "packet" when I thought of the melody of the song Bonnie Raitt sang; Turn down the lights.. 😉 Thank you for sharing your breakdowns and then turning it into a vocal exercise 🎶🤗
Loved this! What a fun vocal exercise! Somewhere in the middle, I lost that fourth note in the third bucket. 😬 😂 😂 The beauty of video, I just backed up and sang it over (without watching the barn swallows flutter and swoop out the window); a little concentration helps… 😉 Thank you for this tutorial! ✌🏼
Loved the way you broke down the riff and added different vocal stretches to be able to possibly do this in many keys combining your lower range with the midrange to the falsetto. I haven’t got it, yet… but I look forward to practicing it with you. Peace ✌️ & Love ❤️ to your talent to help others. Wonderful gift!!! 🎵🤙
Hi Rosette! Been watching your videos. Enjoying and learning here! Keep on making more videos like this. Saving you in my playlist! When you have time, please make more voice stretches and vocal workouts 10 to 20 minutes if that would be reasonable. I had vocal chord surgery in Knoxville, TN before and I've had speech therapy, I thought I can not sing anymore but praise God, I am back to singing now (Christian Songs) Your videos are very helpful. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Thank you so much for this! I love how you've broken down the riff into different packages making it much easier to learn. Pace will come with time! Thanks again!
Ah I loved this! Thank you so much! I’m going to keep it slow and keep drilling it get into my brain! The hopefully I will naturally speed up once I’m ready. Absolutely loving your videos, so helpful! Thank you ❤
Wow lol 🤣 I totally missed the 4th bucket towards the last practices! I came back to the beginning the video to make sure I had them all, but nope lol 🤣 ill be practicing this often! I want to learn it for fun 🤩 thanks for the amazing breakdown!
Thanks, Rozette! Breaking this down really helps and with this kind of fast up and down run, absolutely NOTHING replaces practice. I'm practicing my baritone to get this run (and tune as a whole) karaoke-ready. 😀 The local karaoke bar I frequent near me is a crowded joint in a big city and has several regulars with professional music and theatre experience and excellent, polished voices so I really need to bring it or else I'll be buried on the bottom of the list, never to get a chance to sing there again. LOL
Now for those of us women with deep voices🙈🙊, safe to say that I could go lower than that. Not sure if that's a good thing, 🥴 Anyway, you know you're watching Rozette's video on riffs and runs when you hear "mushy mushy poo poo" lol! Never disappoints 😂😂😂 Thank you for your videos Rozette, they're truly helpful. Love from 🇹🇿
I've been trying to get this note FOREVER and i finally got it thanks to you tutorial, you're amazing Rozette thank you!!! I'd love to know if you can do the ending run on christina aguilera's version of "somethings got a hold on me?"
Rozzete I love your masterclass singing, teaching and reactions other musicians. Would love to see your reaction video to “Hi Ren”, and Nightbirde’s “It’s ok” America Got Talent version(this one I cried each time I listened to it for almost ten times). ❤🙏 They are two beautiful souls that shouldn’t be missed.
I'm a little slow so I initially thought the entire riff was the first package. I was horrified, wondering how terribly I'd been doing the riff until now 😂
can you teach how we can run to uper note? Because for me , I can do runs to lower notes, but when I want to run to uper note, I can't do it. I feel there is a difference between these, and I don't know what it is. Thank you very much ❤
Mixed voice exercises take a look on my channel.. oh I sing as well😎🎤 mixed voice and chest voice.. but when u warmup u should be practicing up and down the scale tons of exercises all over here.. and many channels .before u do runs start slow as she said..start with scales
Looks like you have a reply but when I push the view other replies I can't see it. That person's account must be hidden by RU-vid. It's sad they let ppl talk into the void. They can see it but no one else can.
