They all know they can't lower the price of food . They are literally pandering to anyone dumb enough to listen . They have no control over corporate profits , zero , none , Nada . The same thing goes for rental units . Do average Canadians know they are using AI to increase rental prices , it's been proven , and is a massive contributor to the increase in rental costs all across the country ? Probably not . The only thing wrong with the economy is people not getting paid enough. Increase everyone's pay by 20% and the majority of problems are fixed . The flip side of that , is corporate profits will plummet (who the fuck cares when your making billions) and government spending will skyrocket, because the federal government employees something like over 50% of the working population (might be wrong on this). Pure capitalism doesn't work . And yet we continue to try and at the same time , pay and fund massively ineffective programs to support socialism. I don't understand how we got to this point, but we are F in the chat . Anyway, this is all a big feel good distraction to take away from the collapse we are all soon to be subjected to .

I really hope you aren't saying they shouldn't work together. There needs to be more bipartisanship imo. I can understand being upset over certain things but the wording feels like it's not ok for them to work together at all.

@@n0h4ndl3 the best thing a government can do to increase tax revenue is to lower taxes and cut government spending, if you create incentives for large corporations to pay taxes they do,. if you try to force corporations to pay higher taxes they will do everything in their power to not pay those taxes. nobel prize winning economist milton friedman as well as economist thomas sowell have been saying this for decades,

@Disgruntled_Canadian Platforms need to be known for each party. None of them have clearly, coherently, intelligently outlined the vision not only for this country but its relation to others, key pain points, and thus the strategy moving forward. Not a single one of them have done so and all this is just lipservice, name calling, and zero leadership. I am praying someone comes forward with a brain and has a team that holds the vision equally and the work ethic to get things done.

Well sadly the PPC won't see many votes. I voted for them several years ago for mad Max and myself and so many people had high hopes for that party and lots of big talk about how many people will vote for them, then come voting time they got like 4% of the vote or something horrible like that. P.P. is pretty based but something seems a little off with him too, but what chance do we have of getting away from JT if we don't at least give P.P. a shot..
