I love old films of that time, I love in them the life of that time that is lost in this and forgotten, that at that time they will peer into something special that will be an eternity of life history

Fantastic music, singing and dancing in this beautiful musical with Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds.

Gene Kelly was such a fabulous dancer that you just can't take your eyes off him whilst he's dancing and what a great voice too! The young Debbie Reynolds did a great job in this movie too! RIP Great pple 🥰😍🤩😇🙏🧡❤💛

This is beautiful, and so are Kelly and Reynolds, but I just can't get past that recollection from Debbie Reynolds about how rude Gene Kelly was to her because of her inexperience at such a young age. You think someone as handsome and gifted as he was would have been packaged with empathy. Apparently that was not the case. Seems he was an egomaniacal ass. Don't get me wrong I still love the movie and watch it whenever I have the opportunity. It remains one of my favorites.

IF I'd been Kathy, I'd have had a big cheesey grin across my face ! ~ fancy being serenaded by Gene and not swooning ?
