The reason I didn't want this video up is because I didn't want to be known as the tragic story anymore, i'm a full time musician and I want to be known for that. Too many covers of other peoples songs back then as well. I was in a bad place when we shot this and seeing it brings me back there.
Hey fam, i 100% respect that. I am glad this was reuploaded, only because i love the way you tell your stories. They inspire hope for me. The fact a girl went through so much, and still spreads so much positivity is wonderful. Keep on fuckin slaying.
@@jakemercier1560 This being reuploaded is not something you should be happy about because it goes against Jane's wishes. This video on her channel does a better job at telling her story: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r5lkqogTSiQ.html
Jane, I know im not the best person to told this to this but bro, this video wasnt showing you as a dude with a sad and dark back story, I see more like the way to show the people then you're a fighter, someone who can rise from the deepest hole to rise as a well knowed musician and an amazing person, this is proof that everything you got you earn it with your owns hands, and dude, thats something you should be proud

honestly this video is so well done, I respect that Jane doesn't want this up anymore but seriously Syrmor did an incredible job on this one. Incorporating Janes covers and her stories switching back to each other and it feels so professionally done.
@@TacoMan-qu7du Jane politely asked Syrmour to take this video down, as she wasn’t out as trans and wanted to seperate her career from this video. Syrmour never responded to her request, so she placed a copyright strike on the video and negotiated with Syrmour to have the video taken down in exchange for the strike to be removed from his channel.
I wonder why Syrmor took this down because honestly this is a work of art. thank you for the reupload. I legit haven't seen this video in forever and I just started thinking about it all of a sudden.
This video is very important to me, about 2 years ago, i was a reactionary piece of shit and it was so toxic to my mental health, but then Jane got me hooked on Pat, The Bunny and AJJ and some of their lyrics hit so close to home in a way no other artist did before them. Long story short i slowly started to rethink my ideas and now I'm a proud leftist and feel much better about myself as a whole. So yeah a youtube video changed my life i guess
A little worried that Syrmor took this down at Jane's request? I love this video (that's why I sought it out again) but if it's down for that reason maybe it oughta stay down...
@@syrmor may I ask why it went down. I understand fully it’s not my place but I’m genuinely curious this has to be one of the best videos on your channel. Again fully understand if you don’t want to say.
@@billygoss7770 Me and Syrmor had a scuffle, something we probably shouldn't have engaged in. You know, dumb arguments that I started. The reason I didn't want the video up is a different thing though. I didn't want to be known as the homeless sad person anymore, I wanted to be known as Jane, the musician.
I saw this video when it came out and whenever i feel lost or down I'll put this video on, ive always wanted to thank the bird in the video because it got me and probably other people out of a hard time
An understandable reason - but I'd just like to say that, personally, this video is inspiring, a testament to truly (and literally) searching and finding happiness.

For those looking for a better documentary of Jane's past that she herself endorses, this video on her channel is really good: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-r5lkqogTSiQ.html To the reuploader: out of respect for Jane (the virtual bird) I would seriously take this video down. As she's said in her comments, this video is not one that portrays her in the light way that she wishes to be known as. Though her story is definitely inspiring and has helped many people, this isn't the image she wants.
