I think people are not scared because I think they are focusing more on how angelic your voice is than how creepy the song you sang

"You are my sunshine" is my favorite song, it isn't creepy whatsoever and it holds great memories with me and my grandma, she passed of cancer last year sadly. She sang it to me so much so... it's my go to listen song

I love "Ballora's Song" so much. FNaF is my comfort game even if it's a scary game. It just helps me calm down when I'm wound up because I love it so much. "You Are My Sunshine" is really meaningful to me. My mom used to sing that to me when I was a baby to when I was around 6 I've loved that song my whole life. Your voice is amazing, and it (usually) always calms me, no matter what song you're singing. Thank you! ❤

fun fact: old songs, (hence the my little sunshine/lalala from Annabelle) are scary because they aren’t normal like the current ones or the yearly made ones. they also have a sorta strange audio to it to some people.

Hey, I thought of a creepypasta based on you, so her name is "The melody" she's hostile only when provoked, she doesn't come after anyone under 18 and if someone has a heart of gold, sometimes in random buildings, you can hear her sing different creepy songs from famous media or from the internet, these songs can start up from one 30 second song to a hole row of creepy songs that could last an hour or more, if she does come after you all you have to do is scare her by singing the exact same song she's singing as well and make a creepy psychopathic face while doing it, but if you don't have a good singing voice then she won't be scared of you, and then she'll attack you, and you'll never be seen again, if you ever hear her singing never go towards it, just leave and take the elevator

One of my friends actually tried this once but in an abandoned house where someone died because of murder. I warned him but he did not listen. He had his video camera on and he started singing a creepy ass song, at first he thought it was all okay but after 3 minutes, someone started singing with him. He inspected the whole house before singing and no one was there. When he ran out of the house, he saw a human like figure standing Infront of the window just looking at him. Until now, we still don't know who or what that thing is because it's definitely not the kid who got murdered there He had this all recorded. Idk where the video is now but he used a video camera and showed it to me, this happened three years ago when we were 9 years old.

random suggestion: the huntress’ lullaby from dead by daylight. it’s an actual Russian lullaby if you wanted lyrics (I think it’s called bayushki bayu?), it’s creepy but hauntingly beautiful in-game, so I figured it’d be a nice one to sing :)

I think if I walked into that stairwell I’d just stop and enjoy the singing instead of being creeped out. With that said however, the nursery rhymes are definitely the best way to creep people out…. Especially if sung in a child’s voice.

Got to be honest Lauren, didn't find them creepy at all. Loved the slow pronunciation, the subtle tone shifts and unusual note combinations. Plus of course watching you as all of this other weird sound stuff was going on. Now, if I could bring this most enjoyable visual world and the super smooth sound world together, maybe the unobtainable whole idea of what these mind-set worlds are trying to imagine, jointly and separately, would creep me out, or maybe this newly developing tic in my eye and the involuntary twitch of my neck and head are just normalised distortions in your stairwell.

The la llorona one would scare the real out of me as I am Mexican and was told her story as a kid to warn me about being naughty and about playing near water. It still scares me and I now have a immense phobia of drowning and ghosts/spirits
