When I was young we sang both in tongues and prophetically, very few churches do this, may it come back stronger than ever for God's presence was strongest when corporate worship was fully intent on doing this with all their hearts.

The revelations from the Holy Spirit… God bless you .. brother or sister I hope you can find a congregation were God wants you to be there.. Let the Holy Spirit guide you.. dont go to a place or stay in a place for your friends or for some feelings.. Dont..! Alot of Christisns don't believe or have any idea of the Gift of Singing in tongues because alot of them don't have the HolyGost & have not been blessed with this gift! I heard a preacher on utube say that it's not in the bible etc! I was blessed with this gift in 2017 after I passed a test of temptation! I believe theres different Spiritual levels & not all Christians are on the same level of Spiritual communion with the Lord. The Devil has infiltrated Religious Churches using Religious unsaved people 2 mock the Gifts of the Lord such as Speaking in tongues etc. therefore it is a negative reflection on the body of Christ of how Sinners perceive Christians.
I agree, but I think it’s evident that many who claim to be exercising a gift of tongues are impostors. They still live like the Devil when the service ends.

Why didn't the charismatic revival of the 20th century completely overwhelm the world? Because the devil used reformed protestantism and catholicism to hinder and slander the movement. To corrupt and poison it and counterfeit it as the devil does all God's creation. The devil used the pride and greed of faithless theologians to quench the fire of the Spirit. Those of us who are called must be that example and testify to God's power in our lives. We will be persecuted by our brothers in Christ just as the pharisees did the early church, but we must do it because our Lord commands us to.

Wimber was a modern day Shepherd; Frisbee was a cross between a modern day John The Baptist & a mighty Samson. Both are gone today...yet due to different reasons...but it really doesn't matter, for even through all their frailties...they are together once again. BCRadio
Come now, these are good people. Why not let go of your negativity and let them worship? Christ himself warned of judging others. . Don't crush the Spirit.
Contextually Paul only warned about this when there were unbelievers present. At a lot of Wimber conferences during this time, there weren’t unbelievers present. They were conferences to teach the church. So no, what Paul said doesn’t apply.
