They're naturally happier when you do English songs cause they connect to it more. Do hindi songs too but try covering more English songs for non hindi speakers (since you've fans from South India and other parts too)
May be he enjoys Hindi songs as well, may be that makes him happy. Making other's happy is a great thing but if other's can be made happy by doing things one likes than they shouldn't shy away from doing that. Moreover he's sings English also, so when he can adjust other's can also do the same and btw people from the south listen to hindi songs as well just like we enjoy Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam songs.
