I become fascinated by this bird because it cured my insomnia. Seriously. There's this nightingale singing at night close to my block and somehow really makes me fall asleep. I became so dependent on it that one night I didn't hear it singing and I got agitated, then, the next night it was back and I felt so damn happy!
Today is the day my Sweetheart passed away..thirteen years ago. On the third night after her demise..at circa 3'clock a.m. a bird sang to me! I stood alone on my back porch..and that bird poured it's heart out to me! It sang for atleast thirty minutes! So many different ..melodic songs! I'm sure it was meant to soothe my aching soul/heart! I've always loved to hear birds singing..but this one had me bawling like a baby! I've got about a MILLION bird friends that ive fed for five decades...but I never thought they underdood my pain and sorrow . OH! One just buzzed me!! My Sweet hearts Spirit is in my birds!🥰 I feel like I'm reading something someone else wrote!
I barely remember writing this...but I rene ber that morning and that bird!! Birds and squirrels and dogs!! ....and prople that Ive been blessed to have met while out walki g! "These are what my life is composed of...here in my golden days!! Thank You Dear God! (ALLAH)❤☺️🐕✨
My Grandma loved her birds, especially Robins. Just minutes before she took her last breath, many birds just appeared outside her window( she passed at home) and her eyes were fixed on them. Obviously birds are outside everyday but right at this moment it was like a whole flock of different birds were just bouncing off the trees. When she passed, everyday, a Robin would come my way one or another. At her grave, in my garden etc. It would always be when I was bawling my eyes out. Then I googled it and found many people with similar stories. I said to my mum that perhaps at that moment when she was passing, we saw birds but my Nan saw angels. Seeing the Robins, helped me with my grief. It helped me to feel that my Nan is close by.
This time of year here in the hills of South Portugal, the night time is alive with the sound of competing nightingales. Absolutely beautiful! 🏴🇵🇹🎼🎶
This bird has amazing range of singing. From simple chirping to beat-boxing and from rapid knocking on the door to drumming. Quality of the video / audio is really good. 😊😊❤❤
We have now a nightingale living in our neighbourhood. So amazing! Our window is open in a bedroom and the bird is just right outside singing it's songs. Like a fairy-tale!
Few months back i rescued a baby nightangle she fell down from the tree and One of her wings was broken by falling from the tree and she couldn't fly , i brought her home and named her pikku , i did everthing i could for her but unfortunately she died after 2 months ...i miss her so much😞 i miss her soothing voice.. she used to sing with me 🌸 may her soul rest in peace❣ i will always love her ♥️
That is so sad,but a privileged experience. I used to see and hear Skylarks when I was younger but never see or hear them these days, but it is something I will remember for the rest of my life.
Aww! RIP Pikku I once saved a bird that couldn't fly anymore. We took it to the vets but its been two years since we took it to the vets. Still no feedback.🙄😑😐
It's sweet and cute, but the best birdsong I ever heard, so beautiful that I left the house to see what it was that was singing, was an American robin on my chimney. It was exquisite. Heard once and never since.
My eyes are literally watering. I do not know how to express it at the moment. I'm not getting enough sleep because of depression and anxiety, listening to it is such a great relief. Sad how we're missing on such simple and beautiful things available in nature.
I came here with a hope of some melodious sound but after listening it I feel that it is our nature's beatboxer who does not need any instrument for its song and can sing without break .
@Diane Byers - The first time I ever got enchanted(i.e., "put under a spell") by a bird's song, was from that of a mockingbird. The mockingbird was standing at the very top of a wooden utility pole, & it sang for several minutes - hence my enchantment! That scene has been a bittersweet memory for me.
We have Mockingbirds in Phoenix. They quickly became my favorite when I moved here 30 years ago. Never saw them growing up in the Midwest. Not only do they sing so well, there’re just fascinating to watch.

I didn’t know this was a thing, sometimes I daren’t go to sleep because I’m worried I won’t wake up and my kids wouldn’t have me 😮 I always do fall asleep and thankfully I’ve woken up every time. 😅
Amazing. No human can move his chin as fast as that. Almighty Allah has created everything for a purpose and on its own nature. Allah created these birds to sooth our aching hearts, and to show his power and artistry.
Really all the birds are so beautiful that we can't describe their own qualities. Birds chirping is so much good that attracts us physically and mentally.

This type of bird I remember I used to hear in my grandmas backyard where she had a small garden of flowers and plants with a huge oak tree where she’d leave a small bird feeder and I remember during the summer she’d let me and my sister go out and play with my chalk set or the small playhouse either way I made all kinds of memories in that backyard :,)
Got serenaded by one this morning, on my way into St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Came on here to check that it was a nightingale - and it most certainly was. Wonderful to see and hear.

"Sing sweet nightingale" from Cinderella is either a joke, or the writers had never heard a nightingale and had no idea it is essentially a chirping ray gun
Luscinia megarhynchos is the common nightingale and the one here is the Thrush nightingale - luscinia luscinia. I have been told that when the nightingale is referred as having a lovely song, is the common nightingale they speak of which I have never heard live or seen here in Sweden. We are however, very familiar with the thrush nightingale, and their very energetic song, though maybe not sweet singing :-)

Everybody likes different subject matter, but clicking dislike is an effective way to tune the recommendations.
Yes honestly I have a living problem. Its Just cars / train what I hear. And Neighbours around me every where. I hope. It that I just hear this when I am dead. Because it is also music in mortuarium. I want to say 'yes I hope we hear this more in our live in this world'. Because nature sounds are always good for every human. Because God made it.
