Funny fact: Jin actually don't know how to play piano. He had to memorize what keys to press to play beginning of the song for live performance. It took him 3 weeks to learn it well enough and be confident enough to sing and play piano in front of 45k people at first tour concert. lol

yes and no, I mean, traditional sheet music like the kind typically used for piano and for vocal sight reading is different than the chord based sheet music that is most common with guitar. though I believe you can use sheet music for guitar, its less common (as I understand it, I dont play guitar). But, having an understanding of chord progressions from guitar would certainly transfer over to learning the chords on the piano (once you learn were the notes are on the keys).

This guy started to sing when he was 20 he is 27 now in Korean age, and 26 in western age. Before he joined the Company he had never sing or dance before

people always say that cus u can see the veins in Jin's neck on his highnotes that he is straining, but I think that is just how his neck works and he isnt forcing it too much cus if u actually listen to the sound it sounds really lovely and unforced. (at least in my opinion, I am in NO way an authority).

yeah i dont think he's straining a lot. i've been watching epiphany live fancams and he delivers the high notes with ease. i believe his neck veins are just very prominent

@@naturallycurly98 You're both right. Sometimes he is and sometimes he isn't. The presence of veins alone doesn't mean he's straining. You can see Beyonce and Bruno Mars's head and neck veins all the time, and they almost never strain.

The veins pop out if you contract a muscle right? I'm no expert but don't you have to contract muscles when you sing or speak in general? So maybe that's why you see their veins when they hit a high note cause the muscles contract a bit harder.

@@Beebeepbooboop But Jin is also way jacked. He just has a lot of muscles in general, so you're absolutely right. He's stronger than Jungkook and he works out more than him as well. BTS always says Jungkook is a muscle pig but Jin is super ripped

@@managersejinstan1523 Definition of 'jacked' can be subjective. Some fangirls say Justin Bieber has the best body lol. In my opinion Jin looks like an average teenager who works out sometimes and is skinny/normal but has good shoulder to waist ratio(V taper) while Jungkook looks like a guy who works out just to stay lean and have some decent muscles to show. But Jungkook is stronger than Jin as he can do Lsits and different variations of handstands.

He looks a little awkward in the piano because he actually doesn’t play piano - he learned that piano beginning specifically to perform in their concerts, I love it. He’s so dedicated to giving a great performance and grow in his craft. Side note: all this time I thought you were saying “Becoming An ACTUAL Singer” 😂

Jin is the only one that dont have vocal and dance background. I hope perhaps you can meet him ,coach and somehow give him tips how to connect his chest and head voice also not straining too much at his chesty high note. Because Jin has very beautiful high tone voice that many of us love.

Jin Does play the piano and the guitar. Hes done it live on Award shows! BTS members are so supportive of each other they encourage solo hit singles. This is a Beautiful one!

The microphone records live as he sings, he can review it as he goes along and this was more a practise for the piano, as he isn't a piano player and learned the piece just for this performance.

i love how he casually praises jin. he knows what he's saying and definitely knows what jin was doing. he excluded the languge barrier and just focused on jin's singing. its refreshing to see a reactor actually reacting.

The “shower cap” is super common in korea on mics. You’ll receive them at karaoke too to cover the mic for germ purposes.

That is a mic cover so the spit won't get to the mic. Usually we use it for karaoke mics or if lots of people use the same mic. To keep it clean. Jin is using karaoke mic that can connect via bluetooth to mobile phone or tv

How I already wrote under another BTS reaction video of you: all the BTS mebers are so humble and loveable!... I'm really not a girl, who liked boybands before and I'm nearly asexuel so you can't get my attention by being attractive. But despite that I really really like BTS, because they deserve their success so much. You can't even imagine how warmhearted they are to others and how hard they are to themselfs. I'm really touched by their personalities.

I know nothing about vocals, techniques, and that stuff but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate his talent. The one thing I'm completely sure is that Jin's voice make me feel a lot of emotions when he sings, his live performances are stunning! He is just-- soulful, I love it! He sounds like an angel!

The practice version is my favourite video of Epiphany due to the exact reasons you mentioned. I found it amazingly beautiful and it really touched my heart when I watched it. I am a BTS fan, Jin is my favourite member, so I am biased, but in just really proud of how good he has become, considering he had no singing or dancing experience prior to joining the group.

It's a karaoke microphone that connects via blue tooth and has a built-in speaker. One thing is BTS may perform so professionally and polished on stage but we get to see how they sing and dance live during practice so we know what they can do in and out of stage

here in asia there is this portable microphone which is battery operated you can connect it to your phone via bluetooth then play a music so you can go kareoke.. and the cap on the mic like shower cap is advisable for sanitary purposes specially when your sharing mic :)

I am so glad you praise the way you do. I think it is definitely a testament to how you listen to the music rather than the show. Jin has definitely had the biggest roadblocks to learning to tune his instrument. But you can see how passionate he is and how much he loves his craft. He is actually my favorite in this group. That "shower cap" is for hygienic purposes in karaoke places in South Korea. Even in some places in the Philippines where I'm from hehe. Shower cap is changed every after session in that certain karaoke room.
