I love this, I have been adapting them (since my club is max 8kg) to Kbs and enjoying them VERY much for high reps. A 16kg gives me a great sweat/pump. The pullover is a bit tricky but I feel like I am emptying a massive dig of a bunch of stones (except I am not actually tossing them)
My take, as I still sometimes am thinking like the mill is THE pinnacle exercise, is that the 180 pullover is essentially both upper circles of the mill and reverse mill, combined into one movement. The rotational clean of the pendulum is an 'upgrade' ( more challenging and complex ) over the mills' inside or outside circles portion. So really you're doing a deadlift that requires more input than a circle combined with the upper portion of both mills, 3 portions wrapped up in a movement, so it 'sits on top' in effort & complexity.
When will Adex make those spacers? I want an adjustable club, but the length of the lever matters to me. My first pair of clubs was a very short 15lbs. When I got a tacfit 15lbs club, I was not used to the lever.
That's probably not meant to be serious...How much leg strength can a quarter squat with a 10-20kg clubbell do in one second, and then there's a 4 second leg break in the top position during the shield? That's a split second contraction for the thighs once every 5 seconds... That's 10 consecutive squats in a 15 second set (which is nothing...) will do more work for the thighs than this exercise... It won't even make your legs grow by a millimeter... Only if a person didn't exercise his legs and this was his only exercise for his legs... Then they would grow half a centimeter in circumference in a year... As a movement pattern, it might make sense, but it absolutely does not work for the muscles of the lower half of the body...
