When my son and I were sleeping soundly in a makeshift tent, unexpectedly an elderly woman came to collect firewood and stumbled upon us. Upon learning about my single motherhood situation, she kindly offered her help to us. She escorted us to her home, where she provided us with a warm meal and introduced us to her family members. Moved by our circumstances, her entire family generously lent us a piece of land to build a temporary home. During the meal with her family, I had the pleasure of meeting a young couple named Pao and Sua. We enjoyed each other's company, sharing stories, and I gained two new friends.
