You're absolutely correct. If you really want to raise your kids right, it does take both parents. Why? As good as a mom can be, a dad can issue punishment and stick to that punishment. Where moms frequently give punishment but rarely stick to that punishment. Instead, moms give in much more often than dads. So dad is the enforcer.

My husband noticed that too about single mothers in the Philippines every time he goes to the Philippines 🇵🇭 and is sad😢. I agree with you hundred percent. We need to follow what’s in the Bible. If you follow Jesus you have a blessed life but if you follow what the world you have a miserable life. No Jesus. No peace.🙏✝️🧎‍♀️❤️

❤❤❤ I totally agree I am part of that late 70's early 80's cultural shift I turned away from God and caved to peer pressure, I realized after 2 long term relationships I'm done making stupid mistakes, I dont want to test drive, or sample the goods. I want a relationship with God myself and my Pinay if she finds me worthy enough Thanks again for a great Vlog

I was hoping to colab interview you. hoping to talk about mga isip ng maraming foreigner na wag dapat dalhin ang pinay sa usa kasi daw iiba sila. ang side ko is that mainly it fails kasi hindi sila marunong pumili ng tamang partner kasi minamadali nila and put effort.

I heard a story from a vlogger (No names) about her sister who worked in Singapore as a OFW for 3 years. In the meantime her husband found comfort in another woman. It is what it is, but it's not like no one saw that one coming..

I was one that asked if you would cover this subject & you've done a great job. Much of what you've pointed out, I was thinking the same & I've also learned from your other viewpoints. Overall it's an extremely sad situation, though only replicated by the much less educated & less intelligent in my home country. They're also the kind that don't want to work & rely on social security handouts, which they know they'll get, especially as single mothers. There's a saying it's kids having kids & the slippery slope continues. The more educated, more intelligent give great thought & consideration into parenthood..& so the children are mostly planned & definitely wanted, protected & loved. Much of it though, really does come down to choices & beliefs...you've really nailed such points. Thank you for covering this subject & your time for doing so, is appreciated.

I noticed in Philippines and Indonesia child support isn’t enforced towards the Baby Daddy. If she gets impregnated by an U.S. Citizen, make sure to register the birth with the Consulate or Embassy and get him for the Child support with the Superior Court in the County he lives in.

I agree with what you’re saying it’s a mindset and a belief system. When you have no beliefs you do whatever makes you happy. I feel like the Bible has a lot of wisdom and sometimes we don’t like when someone tells us what we need to hear over what we want to hear. I hope and pray that we realize that we have to have standards and have faith in something.

Nope! Sex education made it worse in the US. Since sex education we went from 75%-90% depending on race of 2 parent homes to 25%-40% of 2 parent homes.
@Dapper_Image_Official
@Dapper_Image_Official 6 месяцев назад
Wrong. Sex education didn't make it worse in the USA. Bad parenting and doing away with God by many in the US is what made it worst. Parents don't teach or train their kids like they use to and they let them do whatever and go wherever not even knowing where their kids are or what they are doing. My parents knew where my brothers and I were at all times and what we were doing. We weren't allowed to go hang out with whoever we wanted. My parents had to know who they were and their parents and how they lived. We also went to church. Their rule was as long as we were under their roof we will go to church. It wasn't a choice. It was their rule. We even had to be in the house by the time the street lights came on at night.

The observation was focused on women and their liberation. There is also a male factor... What i have noticed, is that young men, raised without a father; breeds young men, that are irresponsible .. a domino effect that will multiply the anti nuclear family attitudes...

Thank you. What a breath of fresh air. I feel bad for the Philippine nation traveling down the same road which has brought inevitable destruction on the West. You would hope that they could learn wisdom from the mistakes made here, not repeat them. First order on the agenda to the downfall is to crack the laws against divorce. After that, further erode the laws until easy divorces and no fault divorces will render sacred marriage vows useless. A sacred vow used to be taken seriously. Your word was your deed. Men and women stayed true to each other through the good times and the bad times. Next order on the agenda to the downfall is sexual liberation so-called. Make access to birth control easy. Break down the barriers of chastity before marriage. Next on the agenda is to legalize birth control and ab-or-t-n on demand. Give it a few more years and the nation will circle the drain to inevitable ruin.
@George-ux6zz
@George-ux6zz 6 месяцев назад
Yes, influence from the west is not good for the Philippines. Social media definitely brings the west into evert kid in the Philippines 🇵🇭 life. On a separate note. Personally, I hope the Philippines makes divorce as difficult and expensive as possible. I don't want to see the Philippine family going down the same road as the US or Europe. Today marriage means nothing in the US, it's just a piece of paper. Some women have made a business out of marriage and divorce to get rich. Recently women want a bunch of kids by different men. Why? Bcuz if they have 4-6kids by one man they may only get $1000 per month child support for all their kids combined. But if they have all different dads they may be able to collect about the same but from each dad. 4000- 6000 USD.

It would be wise if Filipinas demanded from their bf that they wait until marriage. It would have another effect as well. A filipina would find out quickly if a guy loves and respects her wishes or just wants to sleep with them. If the guy leaves, you know he doesn't really love you. Correct?

This probably won't stop in the Philippines, the families are close and the grandparents tend to be the parents for both the younger filipina and their babies, so they have a safety net. Here in the US, the government has replaced families, the more kids you have (as a single mom), the more "free" money you get. They give you basic subsidies, and so many people don't even care to better themselves since everything is provided to them. They vote to keep the money coming in, all while our debt goes to insane levels. ""When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic."" I don't see it stopping in either country, unless the women want it to stop.

I have difficulty buying the "Catholic Values" prevent kids from using birth control idea. Because if they were actually following these "Catholic Values" they wouldn't be needing birth control at all. I will not speak for the Philippines, but here in the US there are millions that claim to be Catholic, or Christian, but do not act that way at all. Ask any younger man and he will tell you that if you want to find an "easy girl" find one that went to a Catholic school. I think the internet, especially TikTok and Instagram, are the biggest problem. Kids are exposed to every type of disgusting behavior there is and are told that it is "normal". And with porn everywhere it has become normalized also. But prior to that, US film industry has been promoting deviant behavior. Feminism has only made it worse. Telling young girls to have a "Ho Phase" should be illegal. I hope very much the Philippines can remove these problems before it becomes like America. Where killing unborn babies is now concidered a "human right". Disgusting. And the fathers should be held accountable to raise their children. Not allowed to just walk over to the next town and do it again. Sex education has been a disaster in my country. The claim that "knowledge is power" clearly isn't true in this case. Kids need to know that teen motherhood is shameful. Not supported by the whole community. If young girls and boys will suffer the consequences of their actions instead of being accepted and normalized then there might be a chance of stopping this trend.

Again, I love your videos and takes. But I think you left out a critical contributing factor in the growing rate of single moms in the Philippines. Girls today are obsessed with looks and tend to date/court based on these factors. Many of the guys lack character and tend to leave after getting the girl pregnant. In the old days, Filipina women allowed families to play a role in the guys they got involved with. Relationships should not be emotion-based but rather character-driven.

I like your streams... However I believe in the US there is a lot of reasons for single moms that due not follow form here in the Phils... I live in the Phils with my Filipina wife... Divorce - Many women are choosing the marrital asset split over being moms... 70% of divorces filed last year were by women... State and Federal programs - US women have support programs that take away some of the poverty considerations in the Phils... Money - The child monetization plan where money especially in liberal blue states pay money and more money on each additional baby born... I know of 20 something woman who have 6 plus children and pregnant again... Not happening in the Phils... Marriage is down in the States - This is an alarming stat that the Govt is trying to address... Sons are being taught not to marry given the fact that many women will one day divorce for money... I have 3 sons in the US and none married... They state women in the US is a lost cause and a happiness drain... Feminism - US women want to be the men in the household... The reason that myself came to the Phils... No, the Phils are no where close to what is going on in America... Single parents are an issue but the religious stugma associated with divorce and parenting responsibilities is gone in the US... I am 64 and have personally watched the moral decay happening from generation to generation... Again I am a fan of yours and so is my wife... However single parenthood in the US is complicated...

I disagree with your take away. You argue that sexual education is just a band-aid, and that a return to religion would be the solution, and you cite nationwide data for the US. But its much more illuminating to look at a state-level. Then you'll see that the most religious states, in the deep south, with the highest rate of "abstinence only education" are also the states with the highest rates of teen pregnancies and single parent households. If you compare this to Western European countries with real sexual education, you'll find that teen pregnancies are also much lower in these countries. The Philippines, of course, unfortunately falls under the countries with no or lacking sexual education and thus a high rate of teen pregnancies.
