Join us for a path down lockflow heaven with the Single Stick. Now, I know what you're thinking - why have a flow? Well, it's easy. Sometimes one thing works or you end up right in the spot of number 3 or 4 in the list and boom - you've got it!
This is the lockflow taught to me by Guro Dan Inosanto's son-in-law Guro Ron Balicki.

3:28 I don't know what this disarm is called, but it's interesting how it appears to be the same mechanics as the snake, but applied to the punyo instead of the business end.

i just watched your vid with Mike. you learned FMA and now even teaches it, but you highly criticised it in the other channel? and if your not criticising it, you sure didnt explain it properly or defended it on Mike's channel... not an expert here by any means, just an FMA practitioner trying to understand what your trying to do with the art.

I criticize it because I love it. It's a super fun art that offers a lot. But not everything - and Definitely not everything well. I criticize Muay Thai, Jiu-jitsu, JKD (my baby) and every art for their short comings. ....and that's ok! You should think critically about the arts you practice! Don't take everything at face value. Lastly, my goal with Kali is to reintroduce and show the "combat" side of it as well as the flow side of it. Then apply the JKD lense on it and - absorb what is useful, discard what is useless, and add specifically what is your own.
