OK excellent, but a question, Once Buddy reached max speed on this and began to go to the ride cymbal to crash he almost always then began moving his wrists and arms around his left would go in and out from the ride cymbal while his left remained on the snare but took on that motion, Was that just for show, or some gimmick to actually gain more speed? Or did he shift from singles to Paradiddles?
You need to clarify your question because the ride cymbal is on his right not his left and at that point the man was doing what he had to do to play what he wanted to. He gave his all...No secret there, no gimmick or trick.
