I need a single turbo conversion on my M4. sounds so much better then the twin set up, im guessing this must be down to the equal length headers set up?
Yes that’s why. It’s because of how the twins sit with one being behind another instead of sitting side by side. Also single turbo setups usually just bring out more sound in general than the twins because there’s one less sock in the mouth affecting the sound. Also depends on the single turbo setup as well. Weather it’s a top mount or mid mount. Because for me personally I think the 4n Motorsport kit sounds the best out of all of them.
Kinda sounds of b58 , incredible so it's the main influence of TT setup for f80/82 that makes it sound raspy and not as high pitched as regular n55/b58. I don't really like the sound on f80/82 compared to 340i but i guess it's also not worthy to modify it for 1 turbo set-up as turbo lag will make itself to know and these cars are redefined and shaped from factory to give the best ride.
