Need to see team chat. Maybe entire team was flaming him all game and said hes useless and they dont need him or something. Happens a lot espicslly if they were a 4 stack and hes just by himself. They need to add team chat, MMR, party stacks and such. Lots of information are missing. Not saying he's not guilty, just saying there's a good chance hes not the only one on the team that is guilty for griefing. People dont usually do this afk farm at the end of the game unless people provoke them or flame them.

Yep yep and techies players getting 6 month bans. Defending you self also in dota is forbidden ::D. I say community is toxic. Not really worth of time investment. Just watching sing sing play with friends is good enough, Watching bulldog stream or gorgc and hearing them flame other people is one of reason people are toxic also.

I don't think you need to be able to report the reporters. I think they should just automatically punish the reporters accordingly if the verdict is insufficient evidence or not guilty.

@@omnimenge I don't think Insufficient evidence should be punishable for the reporters. That could mean that he's griefing but you can't tell because chat isn't visible, or he's feeding but not doing it obviously.

I like how the three cases have different verdicts. Monkey King is griefy as shit, the Tusk is a bit suspicious bit he might be just bad, and the Ember's reporter is the one who deserves to be banned.

For tusk if it was reported as not playing his role, he was guilty. He was griefing too but not feeding for which he was reported.

Out of my 6 cases so far, I got 1 dude for scripting and 1 that was griefing (blocking his own team's camps and giving items to other team). The other reports were just because a guy lost his lane and played badly the rest of the game and couldn't recover. I understand Sing here. Reporters are often more toxic than the reported.

welcome to sub 8000 behavior score mid play. Lose lane? Get 2-3 reports. Without overwatch you wil drop to 1 behavior score as a midlaner if you ever drop below 7-8k

I feel the 2nd clip is a griefer. It was a tusk offlane and he did nothing but farmed for his midas and his radi. He didn't take part in fights and was just farming!

They should allow you to report the other players when reviewing an overwatch case as well, man. Had someone who was reported for griefing bcs he was kinda afk jungling but his offlane AM was intentionally feeding the entire time. 0-20 AM just running down lane and I had to decide if the pos5 jungling was a griefer...

language shouldn't be the deciding factor. some people are just rude. as long as they play the hero properly that should be fine. but yeah they still need to be punished somehow for being toxic in the chat. maybe valve can implement the chat lock or whatever. but seriously the easiest way to deal with that kind of player is to mute him. don't let their toxicness get to your head and you're good to go.

Its more on knowing what actually happened and reading the chat logs should provide more context for the situation. In the first clip, for example, if we have chat logs we can decide if the MK was actually trying to help his team or not. Maybe he was farming for items to ensure they win fights and want his team to wait, or maybe he was just griefing because of a previous argument and was pointlessly farming. We can never be sure.

That is the most whiteknight argument i've ever heard for someone afk farming jungle in a won game, not for like 2 minutes, but 15+ minutes of the enemies base being in shambles and him just ignoring everything and ragepinging when he's dead. You can't 100% say the mk was griefing. Inconclusive evidence, might be just bad or tilted. You'd need chat to tell what's going on "beyond reasonable doubt". His team feels quite confident going in without him, dying repeatedly. Ofc mk *should* be there but they know he's not there and do it anyway.

Sing that's another sea server overwatch. You farm as a carry early game you get 4 report( sea mind logic, carry should join the fight with queling blade even it's unwinnable). Farm one small camp as a support that's another report.

Yeah it looks like he didn't really want to lose per se, he just wanted to feel important "See, you can't win without me" which would still be griefing imo, just throwing a little instead of going full on destroying items And then when the enemy actually showed signs of comeback, he tries to tip the scale a bit more, then goes back to griefing
