Oh they did, that's why this is Pre Code, it wasn't until the 50s that Hollywood had to straighten out, what could be seen, and heard from the screen. A moral code! Behind closed doors tho it hadn't changed, People back then lead pretty wild lives, immorality was pretty bad, it' has just gotten so much worse. Now almost everything is acceptable! Sad that our world accepts just about everything that's shoved down our throats by Hollywood ! Some of those actresses had to sleep their way up Hollywood's ladder, to get anywhere. Their bosses expected and demanded it, for them to get anywhere, in the acting world. You want to get somewhere, you sleep with me! And preform any perverted sexual act that they wanted. Period. Sad indeed.

@@victoriataylor5457 , Harvey Weinstein' name comes to mind; on of the really evil moguls of Hollywood. The reality is that God gave us free will, freedom to choose. Sometimes people wisely and then other times not so well. But God did not give a special anointing to censors to override my free will, freedom to choose. I don't need no stinkin' government censors to dictate what I can see or read or hear. The reality is that politics is violence and political government is the bane of humanity; it is not Christian but imposes manmade "laws" and constitution that supplants Gods laws with Satan's filth. That said, I prefer the movies from the 30s, 40s and 50s as the language is cleaner and the perversion and immorality are not nearly as common as seen in the movies since the 1970s, well IMHO of course.

He was honorably discharged exactly one year after being commissioned 1st Lieutenant in the Army Quartermaster Corp. 1918

@@miapdx503 That sounds like a challenge to put together. Still, I bet you could find those things piece by piece somewhere such as eBay, maybe in more specialized online stores. Would you want wool for the suit, or linen, or... ? Did you see that film Carol, with Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara? The Carol character had clothes like that, I think.
