This is actually pretty nutty. I wasn’t expecting the whole rescue storyline. I’ve never heard of this, so I don’t know if it’s really good or really crappy. But I give it props for being at least somewhat original.

Technically they could exploit this loophole, if they find a way to safely enter and exit the hole, that would be incredible for resources for wildlife, different ores, wood, etc.

0:57 I love how in movies you can go to a huge disaster area and instantly stumble into the person you are looking for. I also like the part where this single concerned person is able to just chat it up with a friggin head of homeland security, let alone one with a insane story like "I am seeing visions!". Real life they wouldnt allow a peasant anywhere near them and if you tried to get close theyd arrest you.

On a real note I live in Southern California. The Labrea tar pits are amazing many Ice Age predators from 10,000 years ago have been recovered. I'm sure some of you have heard of this by now but this reminds me of the sinkhole that has recently opened up in China, its about 600 ft. deep I think, and scientists found a whole ecosystem inside with trees that were about 100 ft. high. I though it was pretty crazy.

So glad I watched this 15 minute synopsis, and didn't waste it on the first episode.

The change of tone from sad to excitement at 1:10 is so drastic that it gives you a whiplash while sitting at home.

She is shocked that the natives spoke English in 10,000 BC but the Europeans wasn't supposed to be there until decades later... Decades? How many decades, 1,000 decades later?

Camels and tigers within the same habitat? Okay. Everybody that fell from the sky is still alive and completely uninjured but their vehicles are totaled? Okay.

You do not know how many times Ive gotten goosebumps from time travels stories, they're so frikin interesting and fun yet pretty sad. The way they communicate is a bit hard too because it takes years for them to find. They should also search other places who knows it might happen again thought im not sure they could stop it from happening.

This is interesting. I know about time travel and dimensional travel and I know that there are many earths but in very different forms and have and have had different inhabitants.

if portals to just random points in time were just opening up out of nowhere randomly in the earth's crust, this would be very very bad. what could possibly cause a rift in the Space time continuum that it literally cause a rift to happen directly in the Earth's crust? edit: I just realized that whatever may be causing this in this mystical universe, it would only get worse every time somebody would fall in the past and well do whatever they did that would completely change the present. they're very existence with change to present. this is probably what's causing more and more ripples in time to happen. but then it just begs the question of what was the original origin of the ripples. why is it randomly happening within the Earth's crust?

Hey a cool fact even though this is set in Los Angeles some of it was filmed in hanging Rock and in melbourne city where I live, there's a skyscraper in one of the scenes that I've been many times.

it feels so cool when a part of a movie was filmed somewhere you've visited (i visited la in 2019 and that curly zebra thingy building which i have no idea what its called was literally just across the street)

6:20 the scientist carbon dated a ring? Bah. Suspended disbelief for a rift in time, not for broken science. No one in the making of this stopped and pondered “wait that is so wrong” and took 30 seconds to edit the script into something that makes sense?

“Can’t stay as a community when tough times arrive” idk, every one there is in an extremely unfamiliar and unknown type of situation. As humans we have always done better with numbers. Staying a community seems to be the best course in a survival situation. Better chance together rather than alone.
