they actually have a frigate which they sunk themselves to save it from damage 🤣 btw, I think we can safely consider the sea drones, fast attack boats and naval missiles as a navy - the russian navy demonstrates perfectly that their vessels are far too large and badly managed for a small pond like the Black Sea.
@@spxram4793have you watched anything on the new US Manta Ray Drone Submarine? This war's use of aerial and naval drone warfare in Ukraine, Russia and the Black Sea is just the beginning of these technologies and has been watched by every nation in the world. Drone Swarm technology is the next WMD and some interesting feeds on this on YT
Ukraine is being pumped up by the whole of Europe and US and would sink tomorrow if the aid was to stop. However Ukraine had a huge exodus of its own population and so far has managed to just weaken Europe where the far right are making huge gains due to the discontent getting worse due to the cost of living crisis. So what is Ukraine succeeding? History will tell but most likely only a division and loss of its own territory and weakening Europe and helping corruption spread in Europe
@@CristinaPatrascu-fu1lx It's true that Ukraine can not hold without aid from the West, then again Ukraine would not need aid if Russia had stayed on it's side of the border and not launched an illegal war against a country that intended it no harm. As far as weakening the West... the West overall has not been this strong in decades, and with Finland and Sweden as members NATO is stronger than it's ever been.
Ukrainians destroyed The Askold in the Kersh shipyard. That's only 8 miles from The K Bridge feeder ramps. They could end that bridge now if they wanted.
@@shaun1463 I'm confused maybe you could help me clear something up, does "3 days" mean something different in Russia than it does in the west? Because over here it's certainly been more than 3 days since Russia's invasion started.
A shame we didn't hear from a naval expert here, and please no disparagement of Col. Ingram! (l too worked in intelligence for a bit). But as a former naval warfare officer of 30 years in the RAN, l can tell you that what the Ukrainians have achieved at sea has changed the nature of naval warfare forever and is not to be ignored. Without a navy to speak of, they have achieved 'Sea Control' in the Black Sea. Sea Control is very hard to get to and is a very central doctrine of western maritime warfare. Good on 'em - l am watching this with a whole lot of interest.
changed ? Kamikaze's did the same thing 80 years ago and were simply outmanned and outgunned in material......clearly the UA is succeeding with unmanned Kamikaze boats without the fear of being out gunned on the seas......same concept much weaker enemy
@@michcoug : The Japanese Kamikaze attacks in WW2 never once managed to deter a US task force from operating in any limited area of the Pacific Ocean. The US Navy always accepted its losses and continued its operations regardless.
@@timonsolus And how many carriers, destroyers and battle ships did they send to the bottom or back to dry dock ?? Look it up champ. By 1945 they were completely outgunned and out manned and yet still managed to inflict losses on the USN. The statement that the UA strategy is a "game changer" is still incorrect. Thanks for playing
Your comments were Excellent! Thank you. The UKRAINIANS have proven themselves to be the MOST INNOVATED and COURAGEOUS "CITIZENS of the WORLD!" The other RUSSIAN STATES "SHOULD" join UKRAINE in DECLARING THEIR FREEDOM! GEORGIA, Where are you? CHECHNYA where are you? RUSSIA does not have the resources NOR WILL to OPPRESS many MOTIVATED STATES.
After taking two missile strikes, anyone that would have dived in that Submarine would have to be crazy. Yes they repaired the damage, but how sure could they be about the hidden stresses the metal structure of the vessel had taken and how would it really react to the pressures exerted on it by diving to any depth.
They are almost 100% dependent on foreign aid, lost 80% of electricity production, lost 50% of the population and are a dictatorship. That's pretty much finished in my book. Is a KO-ed boxer that is being held upright by a manager that doesn't care about its health.
If this sub was in dry dock, then it couldn’t have “sunk.” However, at this point the Russians would probably try to salvage the Moskva if they could raise it from the sea bottom, they’re that desperate! 🤣
'In dry dock' technically means out of the water. But it is also used to mean 'in for repairs,' if at a repair site where a dry dock is located. The submarine was still under repair, even though the hole itself had been sealed. It was in the water at the repair site.
Have to Laugh at the RUSSIAN TROLLS in the Comment Section ....They make $500. Dollars a Month and All Dream of their Retirement so they can Travel the World and Visit Exotic Locations on their $200. Dollar a Month Pensions 😀😀

what other countries would write off the vatniks have no choice but to try and fix it. i mean its going to be tough to build news ones. Their industry is scrambling to replace what they had, having lost thousands of tanks, APCs, trucks, they cant keep up. Not to mention over 500,000 men killed wounded or mia. putin f_€ed around, hes finding out.
It wasn't a Ukrainian strike, okay? It was a Russian maintenance man installing screened hatches, instead of solid hatches when it was under repair! Saved some rubles! Now it's fish habitat.
Sorry to disagree with the general but i think that the CIA has had some input to Ukrainian segcess in the war very minimal because Ukrainian have heart more than most of us truly respect there fight for democracies around the world Slava Ukraine ❤️
Putin as a former KGB agent, knows how to inflate the ego of a deeply narccisitic man like Trump. They probably teach that in the first week of KGB school. Putin played Trump like a fiddle.
what good are these ships. rusha is doing deep sea exploration at this point. I mean the only thing they hold the title in is the fact they are willing to sacrifice as many men as they have in the country.
Can someone tell me, Does this vessel have a nuclear reactor and does it scram and shut down if it sinks. Either way, keep up the good work Ukraine. You're helping me believe in miracles again
The Rostov-on-Don was a Kilo class submarine. They have diesel-electric propulsion. There'll probably be an oil slick, but there's no reactor to release radiation.
@@gdutfulkbhh7537 thankyou for filling me in on that. I feel sorry for Ukraine. They will have to clean up Russia's mess. You certainly know your subs. Cheers
He should focus more on saying what is happening, and less time on spin. While most of us want Ukraine to prevail, we watch news sites to get information that is not sugar-coated.
You have to think that any surface vessel from any navy is now an easy target not just Russian but any country is going to have to watch for air and sea drones. It takes but 5 seconds of inattention to sink a metal ship no matter who makes it. Likewise tanks as Ukraine has shown. Aircraft have never been safe at all.
Ukraine must not get cocky though, this war is have take VERY seriously by anyone, until it is won. And even then, never ever drop your guard again. Russia has not changed in 400 years. Even now, 80 years after WW2, it has not learned the lesson. It probably never will. They will build up, they start thinking about expansion and "their lands" - and when certain leaders appears, they wait for the right moment (which was the mistake they did, right moment was in 2014, not in 2022)
Russia has been using the same strategic goals dating back to Peter the Great. Changes in technology society politics etc etc etc be damned... P the G's vision must be reached!
Surely there needs to be some sort of exit route for those Russians living in Crimea as eventually they will want to leave either to the east or perhaps to the west..... somehow! Perhaps the bridge as a walking route?
"I think this is more of a PR message from Vladimir Putin to his supporters, to the Chinese, the Iranians and to the other BRICS nations..." Talking of BRICS, neither Brazil nor South Africa sent warships to the parade.
BRICS is toted as an alternative to NATO, but BRICS members are not true allies. China and India have active border disputes which has claimed the lives of soldiers on both sides. China covets Russian land in siberia, and Russia is terrified of Chinese economic dominance. South Africa has so many internal problems, they largely just mind their own business, and Brazil just wants to orient it's foreign policy independent of the United States. Friends of conveinance are not true friends.
It's most gratifying to see Ukraine bloody the big bully Russia's nose. May the offensive against Russia continue unabated. Russia and Putin deserve a resounding humilating defeat a la what Japan inflicted on an imperialist Russia long ago. I always knew that an advanced air force military capability for Ukrained would turn the tide of Russia's criminal and deadly invasion of a sovereign nation Ukraine.
"Most powerful navy's in the world" Has this guy not been alive for last 60 years. Russia never was a powerful navy, even during the soviet union times, they were tragically outdated and overhyped. They arent even in top 10 of world navy's currently when it comes to actual competence, because I dont care about the number of ships, when they are that outdated and are basically targets for any ASM
Reminds me of the Russo-Japaanese war. Russia needed reinforcements for its Pacific fleet. Russia assembled a fleet in St. Petersburg then proceeded to send it literally around the world. Russian incompetence saw most of that fleet whittle away on the journey, only to be promptly defeated by the Japanese once they arrived. Russia never had a good navy.
@@niblet112 : Russia didn't defeat the Kreigsmarine in WW2 - that was done by the Western Allies. And Russia never defeated the French Navy in the Napoleonic wars.
The only reason to rate the Russian Navy in the world top 10 is for their subs, which are numerous and good quality. Their surface navy is a costal defense force posing as a blue water fleet. With few domestic naval bases, repair facilities, and one tiny foreign 'base' in Syria.
The same thought occurred to me... but I suppose it's journalistic shorthand for reporting that the fleet has been humiliated and rendered ineffective. The russians and the Soviet Union before them have never had much of a navy, but these last two years have possibly even topped the massive schooling that the Japanese handed them at the Battle of Tsushima in 1905.
