Thanks. Nice and simple but clear. I decided to swap a black SDR bezel for my SS one on my U1 too. Really appreciate your overview before I tackled it myself!
Looks pretty straight forward. Thanks for posting. I just picked up a used Sinn 757 Diapal. Love the watch but the outside of the bezel has some marks I want to clean up. My bezel has screws at 12, 2, 6,10. It has one more screw than you talk about. I assume all 4 of my screws need to be unscrewed to remove bezel? TIA, Jim
Nice video Joe. One question, Ive ordered the black sdr bezel for my u1 and my u1 has 4 screws on the silver bezel, 30, 10, 12 and 2. Are you saying you do not need to unscrew the 12 o'clock screw?
Do you happen to know if it's the same with the 104? I would like to see if I can loosen my bezel since its very stiff but I'm worried I won't be able to put it back.
FYI.....My U2 has bezel screws at 12-6-10 and 2......... so be sure you look at your model to identify where they are. Where did you buy the SDR bezel ?
SHIT. I made the mistake of buying the black bezel for my U50-T... Little did I know that you CANNOT do this with the U50 model of this watch. *Edit* - It turns out that the replacement dials that you purchase from Sinn *DO* *NOT* include the internal metal ring that sits _inside_ of the bezel and allows it to secure and stay attached to the watch casing. You need to remove said internal ring when you swap bezels. So it's actually possible - but there was just a tiny bit more work involved than I had anticipated, haha.
@@joe19782005 Hey man. Quick update - but you may be able to purchase the bezel retention ring as well. I'll let you know what I find out when I hear back! Also, thanks =).
