That definitely was a flawless experience. Closing my eyes was one of the best things I’ve ever done. This isn’t just a remaster. Probably the most high quality Pokemon music experience I’ve ever had. I need more of these HQ atmospheric masterpieces.

I’M IN LOVE. This is 100% the best remaster of Route 216 I’ve ever heard. The snowy sound effects at the start really helped build the immersion as I closed my eyes and pictured myself there with my headphones! I’m literally in my car and the A/C is on so it being super cold actually really helped, too. This was definitely worth the build-up! I don’t know much about music, so I can’t really give a proper critique on things like this outside of what music I like and dislike, but there’s something this remaster manages to capture that the others just don’t get quite right, and I can’t put my finger on it! So I’m really grateful for you helping me relive memories on one of my favorite routes in the series. I can still remember Maylene flexing about how she can handle the cold no problem and walks through here barefoot all the time, when she’s dressed super light.

I like how Dawn is just walking and doesn’t notice that Piplup is frozen solid

All in the 4th Gen.... First Pokemon Game: Pokemon DIamond First Crush: Dawn (Just how cute is she in this masterpiece of video??) First Trade with the other part of the world: got a Japanese Torterra for Regice. First Cheats used for event pokemon like Darkrai etc... Man so many memories... Started playing at the age of 10 at the same time that the anime version broadcasted on the tv, man it was like something that will never happen again, it was something so mystic...

now this is what the remix of route 216 should have sounded like, still capturing the feels of the og theme but still sounding new and fresh

I live in the Arctic (like I’m talking the actual Arctic) and I listen to this when I walk too and from my workplace trudging through the snow, keeps my spirits lifted in this moody tundra!

When this person somehow made a better theme than they actually used for the remakes..... Really wished this was in the game instead

Now I'm happy we didn't get Sinnoh remakes in 3DS. Sinnoh remakes will be even better than what Sword&Shield trailer showed us. It's gonna push the Switch capabilities.

I can just picture it in my head... You're leaving Mt. Coronet, and entering the tundra routes for the first time. There's no music, at first; just the howling wind stinging at your face as you observe this white wonderland for the first time. Someone else walks out after you (probably your rival), and comments on all the snow. Once he's dashed off, you regain control over your avatar, and the music begins~

Sinnoh is such a relaxing place. Definitely mu favorite region.

What was only a slight breeze at first suddenly took me by surprise by wrapping me in a thick fog through which I could not see anything. *SWOOSH* Once it dissipated, I was in a completely different place, although it felt curiously familiar to me. As I walked through the snow, I saw a group of Weaviles speeding, far ahead of me, while to my right, a tall Abomasnow, accompanied by his cub, sank into the snowy forest without paying attention to me. While I arrived in a clearing, in front of me, a herd of Piloswines, led by an imposing Mamoswine, were protecting their little Swinubs. One of the youngest approached me without fear. Bending over to stroke it, the light ambient breeze intensified again and the thick fog surrounded me, then revealing my room : I was installed on my bed, as at the beginning. The video was over for a while, but I felt it would not be my only trip to this beautiful region.

This version is definitely better than the official remaster, but I am gonna be honest and say the remaster is alright. I guess people only hate it because they're incredibly vulnerable to nostalgia.

This song feels like home tbh, ive always lived in a very snowy environment most of my life, snowpoint city, route 216 and 217 felt like home, this song makes me miss those snowy winters with the trees covered in snow and it being blissfully peaceful and white for miles around

There aren’t many pokemon remasters hat i enjoy for various reasons from not feeling close enough to the spirit of the original to not feeling like a song i’d actually heat in a game, but this remaster doesn’t have EITHER of those problems. this song was enough to bring me to the same nostalgic tears the original does, and for that i absolutely applaud you.

honestly, i wasn't a sinnoh fan. i was tired of seeing those "gen 4 remakes please!" comments everywere. but hey. honestly. after listening to all these themes, beating the elite four and being about to beat cynthia (at least i'll try it lol) i realized how much good these games are. i didn't think that i would end up liking them, but that's it guys. my fav region is unova, and i still prefer it, but sinnoh is a bit closer to unova now. the thing i learned with it si that u can't say that u don't like something if u haven't tried it, bc every game has a story to tell that deserves to be listened. and that's all, guys. thank u if u have arrived here and thank u, sinnoh, too!
