Siófok is a city in Hungary on the eastern shore of Lake Balaton in Somogy county, about 120 kilometers southwest of Budapest. The symbol of the city is the Siófok Water Tower, a tall and majestic structure located in the heart of the city where most of the well-visited establishments are also situated. Siofok is popular for its shallow water as it warms up very quickly during summer and the beaches along the southern Balaton.
