I was actually just watching a differnent video that was saying the syonics are NOT night vision and any claims otherwhise were bs compared to a pvs 14, The unit i saw at Stonebreaker and this seems to show oherwhise, but hey were also complaining about the lag in the image getting to the view finder. Did you notice any lag when doing the comparison?
It is a night vision action camera as advertised. It is the analog nvg group that got threaten by digital. Like Flir thermal, or your phone, there is some post processing necessary. We have been using them for 5 years and with the proper settings and increasing your situational awareness, the lag becomes nearly un noticeable. If you have your Camera set to 60fps and 720p and image stabilization on and all the other options found on any action camera, even like a go pro, then there will be a delay. In the digital world, settings play an important roll. But remember, it's a digital Night Vision action camera.
@@taskforcedeltacanada6708 I give it a couple years of this tech before it catches up to analog NV but if trends in the higher end ptz market mean anything it's only a matter of time had a experience with a multi thousand dollar ptz and all I can tell you is the tech is definitely evolving the trick is making it affordable and remember most people who are being overly aggressive about how bad sionyx is are most likely selling something
at most 2 aurora black units seem to be the best thing below a value brand pvs-14 and the opsin is just ridiculously priced for what it is.Opsin needs to be $1000 not $2500 and the only unit under that needs to be the aurora black or lower the price of the aurora pro to the aurora black .
no other budget optic makes that jump between an aurora black and a pvs 14. Sionyx hasn't done it. Nightfox hasn't done it. stuff out of china hasn't done it. when somebody does that it's going to sell like crazy @@sladeoriginal
