Your comment reminds me of this Monty Python scene, some of the actors didn't know the full script for the scene and were simply told not to laugh and just roll with it, the results are brilliant 👌 m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1QuXZnJLKCM.html
This is actually a really clever way to promote their city AND encourage interdepartmental cooperation and friendship…somebody has one hell of a media team
@@The0GamingHero For some unknown reason firefighters literally go out of there way in conversation to say that they are a fire fighter for example: hey man who do you think will win the Superbowl? im going to watch it at the firehouse..... im a firefighter
That part with the Hose A, it reminds me of this clip from Family Feud with Steve Harvey asking this dude to give him a name that starts with the letter H. Jose...Hose A
These are great to watch, not because the jokes are really funny but the interactions between the two just having a good time. Contagious laughing for sure.
It's very Very likely because although the police and fire departments from anywhere like to compete they are still fighting for the same thing, to protect and serve. So yes.
Adolfo Gonzalez interesting that you call me naive. I've worked along side with both fire and police in the past. I'm not sure what city you live in but in my town they HAVE to work together.
Fun Fact: according to _Monty Python’s Flying Circus,_ the “Assaulted Peanut” joke was formulated by German linguists during WWII as a countermeasure to the funniest Joke Ever Written (a joke which is so hilarious that exposure to it will cause a person to laugh themselves to death), which the Allies had carefully translated into German in order to weaponize it.
@@moi-rp5wq Ahh yes, Germans and humor. Just recently I explained to a German co-worker what the colors of the German flag represent: the black stands for duty, the red stands for pride, the yellow stands for work, and the blue stands for humor. Also, there's a very simple reason why Brits and Germans don't get along. The Brits are too polite to be honest, and the Germans are too honest to be polite...
@space cowboy, is your profile picture of Suga? Are we army everywhere or is there a new RU-vid algorithm to show me more army comments because I watch too many bts videos? XD
@@finaladvance5085 they don't name their hoses like that. They name them based on their size like a 2-inch or a 2 and 1/2 inch hose. My dad's a firefighter and I'm in a fire cadet program so that's how I know it.
A software QA engineer walks into a bar. He orders a beer. He orders three beers. He orders 430,00,000 beers. He orders .6 beers. He orders -1 beers. He orders a dog.
@@midnightdragon67 joke is that fucking hipster are always doing things that are most people not.. They are not doing what most people think is cool.. Just google what hipster is....
@@cncsphere You're assuming the policing system is in peak condition & the only problem are the criminals (aka "Just don't commit crime, simple") when it's... more complicated than that. My views have changed a bit since last year, but I hope you're thinking of the fringe group of people who bully every cop they see & genuinely have a dehumanising disgust for each one of them, and not people of every race who seek police reform.
@@spaghetto9836 I'm also thinking of the rare fringe group of cops that may actually take it too far. Of course, if you listen to the cop hating segment of the public, they'd tell you it's all cops while meanwhile taking absolutely no responsibility for their own actions.
@@neeeeesh - Oh, gee, maybe because of the murderous antifa/blm mobs that are *still* rioting and have murdered several people in uniform? Among others.
@@jacquilayton163 - Exactly. I mean, I don't like cops. I'm scared of them actually. But that doesn't mean I want to see them getting killed. I mean, they are still people. Anyone who says otherwise needs a psyche evaluation imo
Good to see that in these guys’ line of work, they can still have a sense of humor. Also, just from the way they’re laughing at these jokes, I’ll just go out on a limb and say they’re both dads.
OMG, I loved this so much! I've been having to deal with an aging parent recently diagnosed with beginning stages of Alzheimer's, and I don't remember when I smiled last. This made me laugh, and I really needed it. Thank you.
My grandfather was born and raised in Sioux Falls and was a lover of puns all his life. He died almost a year ago and I can't express how this video touched me. Something so simple and yet it make me feel as though he's still here
They're friends. They work in the same town and work together sometimes. Police and Firefighters always have competition with each other but this is friendly competition, you can tell they're just joking around with the jabs at each others jobs.
I love how most of the jokes from the firefighter was about police stuff and the policeman’s jokes were about firefighter stuff this is probably one of the most wholesome videos on RU-vid as it’s just dad’s being dads
The cop had better comical timing, and was better at telling jokes. And I was an EMT and firefighter for 4 years. And yes the firefighter will tell everybody at the damn party.
@@IAmValenwind yeah not gonna lie I'm not even a firefighter yet but when talking to someone new I love bringing up what their career is and listening to it and then saying that I'm gonna be a fireman. Im just really proud of myself for finding something I want to do especially something like firefighting
