Siouxsie always thought he was the best guitarrist ever, he had his own demons as every other person, he was an alcohólic, and he fucked up in some gigs, I am an alcohólic myself so I know how that feels... Robert Smith could not play as cool as Mcgeogh, he is my favorite post punk - Goth Rock guitarrist, he is very much missed...

Best song ever! ✡💃💕 I saw them playing live in in Oslo, Norway in 1980, and I had to hitchike at evening and nighttime for 11 hours, to get to the venue, I was 15 years old. Unforgettable. 😍

The combined power of all these incredible musicians and Siouxsies haunting chant is astonishing. The drummer is a total dynamo under Severins heavy bass line. McGeoch sounds like a quartet all by himself, the beautiful cacophony he creates from that one guitar is not of this world. This man had no equal in IMO. I hear the guitar and song looping in my head long after they’re done playing.

They are supernatural. Just listen to these guitar sounds, and see that woman -wow.

This is the best band directed by a woman ever....Siouxsie is a force of nature. - Her music transcends time and space ..Her eerie vocals fit as a unique piece for the aura created by guitar, bass and drums, working together as a well oiled machine.

I was lucky enough to see them live at Hammersmith London in september 1981. Was only 17 years old at the time but it was a truly unforgettable experience. The Banshees were a very special group of very talented artists, and that's something we don't see in pop/rock music nowadays. The 80's punk era was an incredible and groundbreaking decade for music in the UK.

Can you imagine the shock when Siouxsie sings this song wearing that shirt in this country?
@jeremyhowell7975
@jeremyhowell7975 6 лет назад
Apparently, she got into trouble for wearing some Nazi insignia when she was hanging out as an acolyte of the Sex Pistols. It made her a pin-up for the far-right UK movement, the National Front. She abruptly changed course and wore Star of David T-shirts and sung songs like Israel to repel the National Front.

the story of the bible is the book about the family adam. the white europe nations are the tribes of israel. all false jews are now in israel and will build the third temple to welcome the king of their jews the antichrist. after all jesus is coming back and all white tribes coming back to israel and the 144.000 sealed virgin jesus follower llisten to this song and dance for the holyness of our god jesus christ like kind david before.

Brilliant guitar playing, just brilliant. Had he lived he would be right up there with Johnny Marr. The band is just epic, its a pity Siouxsie lets it down with her thin vocal. Kinda like Ian Brown and the roses, brilliant musicians with a weak vocal.
