Finale: The Last Mantaray and More Show is a live DVD by Siouxsie, released in 2009. It was the last show of the MantaRay and More Tour which took place on 29 September 2008 at London's KOKO.
Wow! She is still as beautiful as ever! She is such an amazing artist. So much respect for Siouxsie and the Banshees. I never get tired of their music. So beautiful!
This is one of my favourite of Siouxsie's images, the one I love best is the Israel t shirt and fishnets look circa 1981. Also the Louise brooks bobbed hair and 1940s movie star tailoring image for Peepshow is brilliant as well. Such a style icon as well as musical genius
STILL MAGICAL....IN 30 YRS ..........UN****INGBELIEVABLE. I know why i loved this band immidiately, Join Hands was just released. I humbly bow for Siouxie Sioux, Steven Severin, Budgie, and all the guitarists....Even R.Smith. (A surprise at Roskilde in -84 or 85.)
@@davegahan951 RS was invited by the Banshees to help them on tour because the Cure was supporting them and they lost Mc Geoch at that time. So robert Smith performed each evening, the 2 sets, with the Cure, and with the Banshees. He and Severin became best friends and they produced the side project "the Glove". Later Polydor wanted to persuade Robert Smith to enter officially the Banshees in order to form a "super band" but this failed. Robert was more interesting in building his own project with The Cure, and also his participation was not a success... saying other members, his guitar lines in hyaena took long time to complete and were no so tremendous. I am sad to say I agree with the later. But Robert Smith performed well in some quite good gigs with the group, as for proof the magical "Nocturne". I'd been at their show in Paris for the Hyaena tour and Robert Smith was brilliant that time. Supporting the Banshees was Jad Wio, and they just lightened up the hall. Well finally we can say that Robert smith was not the appropriate guitarist for the Banshees, in terms of creation. But on stage he sometimes put the level at a pinacle that later guitarist will never reach.
We love everything that Sioxsie did and does, but as a Heavy Metal lover, this track speaks to us a bit more than say PEE A BOO. Lol. CITIES IN DUST forever and ever❤❤❤😮😮😮
Diosa maravillosa. mantienes tu alma incólume. No importa el paso de los años. Eres incorruptible, bella mujer. No te vistes de traje Chanel por tener mas de 50 años, como Debby Harris.
Saw the second permanent incarnation of the band at the same venue (then called Music Machine) in March 1980, when they previewed the material that would eventually come out on Kaleidoscope. Amazingly unexpected and innovative to hear at the time
graemereaper I dont really think her lost her voice, but doesnt seam she wants to put in the effort in singing..Pat benatar is close to siousie age and she still got it!!...The only guitarist thats close to john playing was Robert Smith..who filled in when john left the band..
The best ones are the ons by McGeoch live in 1981 (before he voice really started to go) - this sounds terrible. They've tuned it down about 3 semitones for her restricted range and she's still flat. Slowing it down also didn't help either and this guitarist _isn't_ good
I was at this gig & said at the time how bad her band were & I haven't changed my mind I still think that this is not their style of playing & they can't do it however good they might be at other stuff shows how great a band the Banshees were Siouxsie is Amazing as ever,
Dave Ronaldson fuck off loser. Be better than don’t crap on others. Anyway who cares if you think it’s crap? Oh hey everyone the VIP DAVE RONALDSON has spoken- the banshees are crap? Hear? Now have a changed day knowing this and btw thank you RD for your profound insight
