I can't deal with how DIVINE Siouxsie looks here. Her look is POINT ON. The stripes, the fantastique teased ponytail, the ear rings. It's just too perfect!
@@theimaginarygallery5935 She is a biological woman but......ok! Also I've seen trans women who are much prettier than biological women! P.S: Congrats on being a transphobic douche.
@@transsexualmenaceradfem Biological woman? Really? With those male hips? Straight back? Overdone makeup to cover male traits? I am not phobic of trans, just a little disappointed that there is so much deception thrown upon us (Marilyn Monroe was a M to F transgender as well as Candy Perfume Madonna!). Here is some proof Siouxsie was born a boy! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xJ7c2E_-ah4.html
I've said this elsewhere and i really don't want to sound ''parrotish'' but this group is naturally short-listed for the 10 best EVER British Rock acts. For all those who sound their collective mouths off in ecstasies for Billy's Sgt Pepper or for Beggars Banquet, should go on a semestre-long diet of Kaleidoscope, JUJU, A kiss in the Dreamhouse and Hyaena, and if still in doubt, attend an extra seminar on Peepshow and The Rapture. The graal of the former Bromley Contingent, these albums perpetuate the Essence generated between The Scream and Join Hands. And two more things - if you ask me, the Banshees surpassed even Bowie as far as talent and divine spark are concerned, regarding the titanic endeavour of covering all time Rock classics ( Pinups vs. Through the looking glass); also, think of the magnificent ''parallel'' discography made of impeccable maxi45rpm they left us, with highly inspired original b-sides that usually came in pairs - that's respect and affection for the fan. Apart from that, we always had their sartorial artistic integrity as role model. What else can you ask?
The Banshees were very smart not getting pigeonholed into any one genre. One of many reasons they endured as long as they did. That said, and i think Sioux would agree, that a majority of her fan base were old school punks and goths. The Banshees were never part of any scene, but their followers definitely were.
Performed at the Escape , Amsterdam, and presented by Linda de Mol ofJohn de Mol Productions, wardrobe: P&C, commercially hidden adds. Pretty clever done.
@@TravisBickle1963 It took me years to find out the Banshees had never heard the original version by The Band, and were basing their cover on Driscoll's. I don't think she got a lot of airplay here in the US
