What wonderful surprise to find this video unexpectedly recommended by RU-vid. Sir Edmund's service and commitment to the Sherpa people of Nepal is very impressive - as much so as the people he serves. I pray for all Sherpa children in the Khumbu (at the very least) and hope that they gain enough education that no Sherpa ever again has to risk his life on the mountain unless it is their choice to do so. I also admired his reaction to the 40-odd climbers who walked past injured climber David Sharp. He spoke like a true elder statesman of the mountain.
I don’t even know why I’m interested if Mallory summited. The answer wouldn’t change my life for a second. Still, I’m grateful for Ankers expedition finding Mallory& looking for answers. Mountaineers all have a big ego. So, I don’t think Mallory would mind that we’re still interested in him.
he had lots of adventure and the means to do it every Englishman ive ever known im the son of one and have to told him to shut up you are humzn not special
