Nah the reason they're always available is because people sit on it for 5 minutes or so pulling their 3:20 split at rate 40. and don't get tired and wonder why, then they go off without a sweat and are like, oh that was easy.
6 years later and I see this at my gym every single day. I'm a beginner at this but I was asked "how is your time so low (500 split @2:05 for this workout) when you row so slowly?" Rate 20...
That's basically what I mean. It's a killer machine and regular gym users avoid it. They'd rather jog on the treadmill for half hour. I'm ready to vomit/collapse after I've been rowing.
