I need to give an applause for the arranger, fusing happy birthday motive in a lose Polyphonic technique into the Beethoven 3rd, match it to the underlying harmony, distribute it to the whole orchestra, rehearse it secretly and make sure at the day everything went well. Genius.... 👏👏👏👏👏

I've been looking for this video ever since I saw the compilation clip on ClassicalFM! My birthday is in a few days but due to some unpleasant on-going situation, I won't be celebrating it at all... At the same time, I've thoroughly missed hearing some good orchestral music. So watching/listening to this brings tears to my eyes :') There are many orchestras out there pranking their conductors with a HBD during rehearsal or actual concert, but this particular arrangement takes the cake for me. Bravo!
