As a local lad I watched Sir Tom from the mid 50's & he provided me with some wonderful memories. When at Deepdale the ball reached his feet a crowd of 30,000 drew breath eagerly awaiting his magic.A tireless worker for local charities, chairman of the magistrates, chair of the local Health Authority. An unblemished career with one club PNE 433 games & 71 international caps.A Freeman of Preston awarded the CBE & OBE & finally a knighthood. What more can you say?
I use this video as a reminiscence distraction for one of my dementia clients. We watch it maybe twice a week. Talking about Tom finney (who he knows personally) is a favourite pass time which reduces his aggression and anxiety. Thankyou
I am so happy that it helps your patient I have another video of Sir Tom on RU-vid it is called the Perfect player. I sincerely hope that you and your patient enjoy Trevor

My dad played against Tom Finney at club and international level Wales v England. Dad who was also a winger, rated Tom as the best winger the UK has ever had. 🤔
