Full length Dutch siren signals with siren type Modulator (MOD) 2008 from the manufacturer Federal Signal.
Part 1 of 1 with the signal "AIR RAID ALERT".
Signal: Gradually increasing rising and falling howl tone
Duration: 90 sec.
Meaning: Acute danger for the population
Usage:
- Terrorist attack
- Rampage
- Flooding
- Strong storm
- Big fire
- Earthquake
- Chemical spill
- Accident in nuclear power plants
What is to do?:
- Seek shelter
- Close windwos and doors
- Turn off air conditioning and ventilation
- Turn on radios
- Heed messages from warning apps
- Follow the instructions of the authorities
- Inform neighbors
- Do not block emergency lines

My friend who lives in the Netherlands wrote this down in a different comment section, but apparently, if this tone was used during an emergency, it wouldnt go twice only. It would go on for a bit longer

Yup, I did! The 45-second signal two times in a row is used for the monthly tests. If it sound for more than two time in a row, there is an actual emergency. Also @MardekSirenen, what are the criteriua for siren activation during storms? I thought they didn't do that.
