This reminds me of Tides of time/Tides of madness which if I'm not mistaken also consisted of 18 cards. but this one feels more involved, having more features on the cards combined with the scoring card that gives nice variability to the game. I wish they also provide two screens so that players can build their roots as they draft because the alternative is either trying to remember those many features which increases the chance of making mistakes or constantly checking the previously drafted cards which could become annoying. Thanks for yet another great video Jon!

Thanks for the playthrough. I saw this advertised and was attracted to the theme but I think having seen this that the gameplay isn't for me. I appreciate your playthrough for helping me make a wise investment decision 😊

This looks like a fun little game to just have in my purse! I’m still watching but the is the first video I’ve watched where I would have done something different than you - at 6:39 I probably would have put your rightmost card on the left. Then you would still have had 3 blues, but also would have gotten three flows, and the incomplete charms would have been on the outside so you would’ve still had the opportunity to complete them in the second draft. But even though they seem net same (1+2= 3 minus 2 penalty = 1, complete charm =1), you would’ve had the potential to score an additional 3 points for the next flow!

Fun little game! The app song is underwhelming. It'd be awesome if it had more than just a simple electic piano playing single notes. Chords, background harmony, vocals, etc., would be really cool.

From my understanding, the melody was kept simple so that it could be sung. Thematic!

I hope they fix the “exponential” assertion for the flow points. It’s not exponential.

Would the right term for that type of scoring be “progressive” ?

Why do they have a 5 length part scoring if there is no practice way to score it, since you need 3 parts and there are only 6 cards... Seems confusing to have that as a scoring example in the rules.
