Please try to wait before getting these lenses, the marketing push is really good on these lenses called "nightwalker" yet barely any of the "influencers" pushing these products show footage at night! these are lenses that one would be desperate to upgrade from in a month due to the quite frankly horribly image quality between T1.2 till T2.2 - when considering that there are so many apsc lenses at f1.8 with MUCH better image quality and consistency with the option of autofocus... severely let down by the way these are marketed

Nice review. I’m considering getting these but I still shoot on my c100 mk 2 , just love it , but can’t seem to find an adapter . Doesn’t seem like the lenses come in the mount fit! Anyway me got any suggestions, that don’t involve buy a new camera 😂

Hi Arthur, I like the 8/16/33 mm look. But is there cheap alternative? Getting the footage developed and digitized is hardly affordable if you want to shoot a full length analog film (and dont want to use pseudo-analog digital filter.)

T is a unit used to measure the actual "transmitance" of the light inside the lens, all the way to the lens. As a unit, it is a stable value and helps comparing lenses. The cinematographic field needs such a precise data, because exposing a sensor or film in a cinema camera for projection on a huge screen requires very precise informations so the adjustments can be done down to percentages. The "f" values is the result of a ratio, so it is not a unit nor is it a precise value. Two lenses with the same "f" number may each have a different transmitance, because the "f" only depends on this ratio calculated by using two of the dimensions of the lens itself. So, it does not actually measure the quantity of light going through the optic, but the capacity of this object to let in more or less light. I won't go any further in details, so you may understand the basics. To have a deeper comprehension, turn to actual photo/video Websites (avoid forums and chats, they are full of false informations and misconceptions), the best being to read what a professional Director of photography can write about it. Wikipedia also has a few nice pages about Optics, and you may find what is takes to clear things up. Remember one thing : light IS what matters... "photography" actually means "writing with light", it's a word composed from two words from ancient Greek. No matter what idiots can affirm or shout, light is THE most important factor for image creation. No light = no image.

The 24mm of this has a warm cast that completely makes it inconsistent from the 35 & 55, its disappointing you have not mentioned this in your video or compared footage, shown the lenses at different t stops so viewers can come to their own conclusions from the footage.
