Alright, so I been running this a LOT. I can confidently run electricals in this. I die maybe once every 10 times to NPCs. I have gotten in the pvp room many times. Often no one else is in there and I get to loot the cladistic cache, but it averages like 20m. I have fought quite a few people, and died to them all. I came very close to killing a blue vedmak who didn't see me on overview until he was in hull (and I was in reload). I also came close to killing an Orthrus who spawned very close to me and had wrong missiles loaded. I have kited and stalemate-ransomed a couple people for a little bit of isk. I'm not sure if this can kill anything, even though I have come very very close with overheating.
@@distantknight29 Yeah it would, but then you would lose the survivability. You absolutely NEED the shield rigs to live. Since I posted this comment I have actually managed to kill a few gilas by defanging them and wearing through their shield before the timer. zkillboard.com/kill/77820084/ zkillboard.com/kill/76894173/ zkillboard.com/kill/76550460/
@@scottbell324 oh nice. I personally would do an active tank fit with 2× large shield extenders, a medium SB, MWD and a cap booster. Then probably T2 RLMs in the high slots and BCs in the lows along with a DC. Rigs wise then i'd put shield rigs like maybe a field extender, core defense operational solidifier and either a capacitor safeguard or a semiconductor memory cell, depends on which is more efficient.
@@distantknight29 That fit would die every time. MSB just can't keep up and would likely give you cap issues. You need the buffer from the three large extenders, and the invuln is very necessary. Also, all your tank is in your shield, if you get to armor you're probably dead anyway, so a DC would just gimp your fit even further. The fit is perfect as is, any modification, literally even the smallest modification, would be a mistake.
If you swap the mwd for a Y-T8 compact and the battery for a Compact Pb-Acid, you can swap out the PDS 2 for a DCU 2 to help out resists. End up with 35.8K ehp. May need L5 skills. Also tempting to sink the isk on tech 2 extender rigs... but that's the cost of the ship in each.
That's true. If you are only interested in the PVE portion of the electrical sites that would probably be a better fit overall, since with the downgraded battery, loss of PDS and mwd you'll still be cap stable with the electrical fit on you. In PVP sites though you'll lose a good chunk of stability and it could become an issue.
@@eveiseasy Actually, I didn't change it that much. I just swapped the battery and mwd for meta levels so I can fit more resists instead of power grid help. The battery is probably the only module with notable stat decrease. Here's a more comprehensive look: (Anyone know how to export pyfa fits in this old listing style?) A triple leshak room (2 blinding, 1 striking) destroyed me. No real chance against it, couldn't lock outside of 40km so by the time I'm applying damage their beams are already ramped up. Also about half of their strikeneedles decided to orbit the striking leshak, taking them out of my sensor damped targeting range. I'm not sure if that is intended behavior, but it definitely worked for them in that situation.
You could have survived this by burning straight at the leshaks, orbit the transfer conduit at 500m, and you can kill up to 4 leshaks with your first RLML clip if you start moving right away. Once you get close, they aren't hitting you, and then when they die you just clean up the strikeneedles.
Very cool video, love the idea of push T1 hulls as hard as you can, but saying this fit CAN run T3's is a stretch presently. I do L3's very comfortably in my cheap-fit Gila all the time, I have good missile and shield skills and took the 3% Pyrolanceia to boot. I'm not sure if there has been re-balancing since this video perhaps, but I've run your fit on tranquility and I'd say this fit COULD make it happen with lucky spawns only, but you can't guarantee success at all, lost every attempt so far, but got close a few times. All depends on your luck with spawns, if you have the battle cruiser / battleship spawns consider close to half of the site time gone into cutting them down in that room (Especially the Drifter spawns). If you get frigate / destroyer / cruiser-sized spawns only, you fly through the room, no sweat. When getting tougher spawns, the Caracal hull is either leaving you trading off too much DPS or tank to be effective here. Consider running this fir in T3's rolling the dice ;)
Nope. I have been practicing in this fit and I don't die at all. This ship can handle any spawn and combination of rooms if you learn how fly it correctly. I take almost zero damage when I fly this. Even the hardest rooms only take me like 6 mins including scooping loot.
Thank you for this. I did not realize the Abyss sites were being toned down. I know that on today's TQ the Abyss sites are damn near impossible to run CONSISTENTLY in a 30mil isk T1 cruiser. I have the most success in a Omen Navy Issue in Electrical site. Knowing that a toned down T3 site will all for more T1 variety is great news. Will the T4 and 5 Abyss sites be adjusted too?
Why not to use L-ASB instead of one LSE, will give you capability to deal with drifters and even with tanglers if they get you, plus you get some nice aditional EHP in general, 3 sets of caps for cycles shouldn't take too much room too
Hey, I'm very new to EVE, please help me to understand what is the point of abysses? I mean not PVP ones. You have only 20 mins, but you have nearly 0 time to collect all cashes (loot). What are you supposed to do there, to have actual ISK? Is there also a cache with loot after you complete PVE abyss? I've never done one before.
I dont think thats really possible. Those ships would require brawler fits, and i can tell you for free that a Stabber is twenty times the brawler a Rupture is simply because it gets a buff to range (fleet issue gets buff to tracking which id say is better)
does not work, die all time, skills all 5 and i know what i do edit: first 2 trys = dead, third try made it in to pvp room and got the loot after 5 min only ~30mio... but it can work, first room was BS and i was down to 5% shield when came under his guns ;)
I have done the conduits and they are easy and best to use just EM damage just pull the information up on the ship and it will tell you what it does and where it's weakest and strongest at on shields armor and hull/ structure. My game name is Budsin Adar fly safe o/ o7 Shalom.
In theory, it can beat due to higher missiles range: so if you stay at 50-60km and kill drones before they kill you,, you have a chance to apply DPS while they can't reach you.
