Zameer, thank you for a great video visit to Sisi. When I was stationed with the US Air Force back in 1969-1970, we used to scuba dive at the Sisi harbor. I have photos taken of us at the harbor. My wife & I visited Sisi in 2005 and we took photos in the very same place as in 1969. The changes over those 35 years are dramatic! I should send you those photos. We love your video visits to the wonderful island Criti! 🙂

Zameer, you're so right when you say Crete is such a beautiful island. I have been to some great places in Europe in my life but only Crete stole my heart right from the beginning.

My wife and I have been holidaying in Sisi for over 25 years …. Usually we come in October when it’s much quieter and there’s not so many idiots on quad bikes wizzing around … we usually stay at the wonderful Angela Apartments and Boutique Hotel which is just up the road from the Church but we have stayed at other places too …. We’ve eaten at most of the restaurants that you’ve shown in the video and some are good and some are very good …. You have to experience them until you find your favourite … our favourite used to be Cafe Avra … (where the guy painting the building with the ladder against the wall) but unfortunately it didn’t survive and is now gone but Mikey and Thespina are both still living in Sisi and are now running a Fish Therapy Spa next door to the Pharmacy …. Our other favourite Bar is The Jolly Rodger … it’s still (October 2022) going strong … Dave & Danielle are still playing at being Pirates 🏴‍☠️ … excellent place for relaxing in the daytime with Mythos by the Sea … and a brilliant place for spending the night with live music, quiz nights and live football… the drinks are all competitively priced and the sprit measures are generous …. We’ve already booked for next year …. Don’t you just Love Sisi ❤…. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🥳 to all ….

Excellent walk around Sisi, Zameer. I was at Cactus bar last Sept. you can view magnificent sunsets from there. I agree with you, independent travel is best and getting lost is part of a great experience. I will return to Crete soon. Thanks for the videos! ✌
