I sometimes don't understand Siskel's critique. It's a rom-com of two young people planning a wedding and how immature the groom is. It's not docudrama. It's a fun sweet film.
I agree with you. I seriously can't understand how Gene thought this script was contrived or over the top and that the film didn't portray, real life-as in social situations and interactions. Roger got it though...so good for him.
