Siskel & Ebert 1983: Winners That Were Losers 

I thought I'd heard of all these old films, since Wikipedia and IMDB have yearly lists, but "Four Friends" (13:09) is a new one on me. Just the reason I love watching these old shows.

Cool Selectavision commercial! While they’re a lousy way to watch movies even back then, I love the artwork!

Executive Producer: Sheldon Cooper. Decades before that name would be more famous in television.

Prince of The City was a phenomenal Sidney Lumet film. A story about police corruption that was even better than Serpico because the bad cops had more of a voice. The film ends on triumphant note but Treat Williams' character was clearly haunted by his guilt.

In those days, sadly, they didn't have the big Home Video market yet or what they have today, so they had to say revival houses or paid TV service.
