Siskel & Ebert - Double Dragon 

Double Dragon takes place in Los Angeles in 2007! I can't believe the movie took place sixteen years ago! I should have watch the movie back then. You win some! You lose some for sure as always and forever!

It's always great to see these guys debate! And surprising when it's over a videogame movie.

Amazing how things have gone. Gene says in this that you can't really expect a good storyline if the film is based on a video game, and perhaps at that time he was right! Fast forward to 2022 and what do we see? The movie industry still loves telling great stories, but not at the expense of those all important dollar bills. "Can we make a few nonsensical twists here and there and make it more appetising to our Chinese audience? Then do it!" Meanwhile, you could throw a pebble in a video game store and you'll probably hit something with ten times more love and care put into it.

Robert Egert is onpoint here, children and teenagers aren't always cinema enjoyers but movie goers and that's what hes alluding to.

The algorithm brought me an unexpected one today. I had seen this as a kid, and even I thought the movie was trash.

This movie was absolute garbage as a kid.
