First heard this great tune in Heaven, London in '87. I've been trying to find it for the last 32 years (didn't remember the title/singer!), & tonight I finally found it on RU-vid - thank you! Absolutely delighted! I turned 55 last month. Many happy days dancing in the London gay clubs, 1985 onwards. ☺☺☺
You know dude, it suck to be looking for a song for even 1 month. I wasn't around when this song came out, first found it in a mix about 2 months ago and let it slip. Never again!
I agree with your comment. There are thousands of hi- nrg Italo, dance trax etc, however, for some reason, I've always felt that this track was such a well constructed piece of NRG, maybe because it was the best of the best at the time, whatever the reason...it captivates the mood of the time and somehow, has stood the test of time.
Magnífica rola es muy tranquila pero me encanta ....ya quieroooooooo bailaaaar ....espero y sea prooontooo ....!!!! Saludos a toda la banda high !!!!!!
I don't know who Sisley Ferré is, but this is definitely the voice of Dutch (backing) vocalist Jody Pijper. See the following clip and see/hear her: Jody - Don't stay late (also on RU-vid) She's also known for her work for the intro of 80s hit Stars on 45!
I don't know why the Sisley Ferre and Attack releases were promoted using an anonymous model on the covers when it could have acknowledged the singing talent of Jodi Pijper, who is the vocalist on all of them. She already had a career and a following. Does anyone know why her identity wasn't disclosed? Contractual?
