I heard Sissel last night in Denmark, and when listening to this, I’m a bit surprised to say it’s quite the same. Both songs and what she said. Even the same sparkly dress. Yes as a dane I understand norwegian. But she is amazing
As I always have said: Sissel is the best singer ever. She has voice to die for. I enjoyed the part when she sang in several languages. I speak Italian, English, and Spanish. My native language is Spanish; So, I enjoyed a lot listening to her performing in my language.
Helt underbar consert. Jag lyssnar på just denna inte bara när julen närmar sig eller under jultider utan lite oftare. Musiken, texten och hela stämningen ger mig mycket gläde och hopp om bättre framtid och inte minst Cissel fantastiska röst och inlevelse. VACKERT ALLTING! ❤💕 tack för delning. 🥰
En härlig repris i det svåra coronaåret 2020. Sissel får oss att tro på framtiden - O Helga Natt, Dejlig er jorden, herrlig Guds himmel, GOD JUL, Merry Christmas
Yes, and a still reprieve in CORONA Year II, 2021, Situnadei. She makes a believer out of us indeed. God's blessings to you from an old Swede who lived i Sverige 1966-1967 and has forgotten how to write that beautiful language! Tacoma, Washington, USA
I want so much to clearly hear in English the translation from Norwegian. I’m even considering taking up learning Norwegian via Babel. I love Sissel so much.
I was wondering about the two young ladies in Sissel's group : both singing, the other also playing percussion. They stand beside Sissel at the end - 59:37 They look like sisters. The end credits zip by very fast but I paused them and discovered that the lady on the left is Sarah (age 20), Sissel's daughter. The lady on the right is Mai Elise Solberg (age 38) A wonderful concert. It is sad that there will be no live Christmas concerts this year GLAD JUL
Gosh, from the point of view of Jul 2021, year II of the pandemic, it's difficult to imagine why the audience and group members weren't masked and six feet apart?! My hope is that you marvelous people in Denmark are doing so now, with Delta, Omicron, and other variants likely to extend this scourge into year III. Best wishes, wonderful Sissel and all of you for good health in 2022. Larvold, a list of the songs and their place on the time line would be much appreciated. Ellen, Tacoma, Washington, USA
Can you please put footnotes in English? I live halfway from your world in a small island called Guam.we speak English in school but this is the first time I’ve Heard Norwegian.
