Story Summary :-
The OP, Stella, and her sister, Tracy, have always been sort of distant. But things start to change when Stella gets pregnant and announces to her family that she’s having twins. As soon as she makes this announcement, Tracy suddenly starts being friendly towards her, helping her through her pregnancy. Stella is really grateful for Tracy’s help and considers this a chance to mend the relationship between the two, and just like that, she gives birth to two healthy baby girls. Stella is
happy, but just a week after she gives birth, Tracy shows up at her house and tries to convince her to give one of the twins to her to bring up as her own, but Stella refuses. That’s when Tracy tells Stella that she and her husband, Dan, have been having some problems for the past few months due to her inability to give him children, and that’s why she desperately wants a baby or else the husband would leave her. Stella refuses, and she’s also confused because she knows that her sister
doesn’t have such infertility problems as once she had fallen pregnant but miscarried, so she doesn’t understand why she can’t have a baby. Soon Tracy also gets her family on her side, who force Stella and try to manipulate her to give the baby to Tracy, but Stella still refuses. This
is when Tracy tries to go extreme to try to take away the baby by force, and Stella gets her arrested.
After this, the family is more furious at Stella for getting Tracy arrested, and they bail her out and continue trying to convince her. Meanwhile, Tracy was in jail. Stella tries to dig into the problem and
find out why Tracy can’t have a baby. It turns out that Tracy got pregnant a year ago, but the weird part was that at that time Dan was out of town for some project for a year, so it proved that Tracy
cheated, and this is why she terminated the baby in some shady clinic, which resulted in her inability to have kids. Stella exposes this whole thing in front of the whole family, who then cut Tracy off, and Dan leaves her due to the cheating. Tracy gets nothing from the divorce, and with no one to rely on, she’s left pretty much miserable, so she asks Stella for help, but Stella doesn’t budge.
