Humorous highlights from Sister Hinckley’s message at the 1999 Women’s Conference at BYU. Strength and Wisdom Through Experience. Wives and Daughters of the First Presidency
I once heard pres. Hinckley say, in answer to the reason why he has such a successful marriage, "I always let her have her way". I thought that was precious.
It is from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is from 1999, with Sister Hinckley, wife of President Gordon B. Hinckley, who was the living prophet of God at that time.
I especially love the way she chuckles at her own words. I too had a mother like her. She was a ferocious warrior for her 5 biddies (myself and 4 siblings). Her favorite sign that hung in the kitchen said "Raising children is like being pecked to death by chickens" Love to you Mama, Biddie #4
She really was! It is from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is from 1999, with Sister Hinckley, wife of President Gordon B. Hinckley, who was the living prophet of God at that time.
Sister Hinckley had to have a good sense of humor living with a man (a Prophet) who also had a good sense of humor. I laughed so hard at Sister Hinckley's remarks. 😂😂❤❤
Because I read about this sweet lady saying in the Ensign that she never spanked her children, I first investigated her and then changed my parenting to do the same. She said aloud what many of us felt but dared not say. 💎💖 😎
We’ve all sinned and cannot get into heaven if we’re corrupted by sin. Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself so that whoever ask forgiveness will be forgiven of sin. If you put your faith in Jesus and are willing to turn from sin you will be saved from hell 🙏🏼
