Marcelito Castro Pomoy IS THE REAL DEAL. I had the great privilege of meeting and watching him in concert in June in Toronto. Check out his life story; it is worthy of a movie. It's my understanding that Marcelito Pomoy taught himself this song by listening to and mimicking a recording. His performance is gorgeous considering that he requires a translator to carry on a conversation in English even though he understands it well but has trouble speaking it. He speaks the Philipino broken english, but being self taught is also singing in English, Italian and Chinese. Possible more by now. He grew up on the streets from age 7, and now is married and a father! His ambition serves him well in whatever he does!

The most amazing dual singer in the whole world we called it "doble cara" who can sing male and female not only that, he can imitate a lot of female foreign singer and Philippines local singers. When he sing in a higher notes he sing in a seating position so cool and calm. You can't see him singing in hard way and even surprises me he imitate Michael Jackson..Billy Jean.

In Philippines, that is a very normal vocal technique for males , we also have people who can sing three different voices. What he did was what we call "doble cara" its all about making a duet of a girl and guy on your own. For sure it'll be harder for you to know that a guy is singing the song when you're blindfolded but in the Philippines we can actually determine whether a guy is imitating a girl's voice :)

Do you know his story? When he was a baby his father was sent to Prison he was able to take Marcelito with him. Then he turned two and was separated from him. His Mother and two sisters wanted him but they weren't even told he was out. He was left on a church step and was taken in by a policeman who didn't treat him well so at the age of seven he became homeless and slept on the street until he was 24. He entered the Phillipines Got Talent in an effort to find his family. He didn't think his voice was special. He never had a lesson. Long story short he won, most importantly he found his family!!! Think for a moment about a seven year old who no body loved, who slept on the streets. He is an amazing person.
