I love that Tiffany was explaining to the others what Jessi really meant because it's so easy to misunderstand considering Jessi still has issues on how to express herself in the "right Korean" way. Btw I hear some Jackson in Jessi lol like when she says stress it's like hearing Jackson haha PS: that old man showing them how to box *facepalm* he's doing so many wrong things.
well from the text he said he did boxing before the movie as well...as in he used to do it just to do it, nothing to do with boxing. Anyways...moving on:)
They confessed in the episode that he was just there to entertain. He didn't say he was a pro. Jo is right, it was for comedic relief. And it was to usher in Jesse's real dream for the show.
I love Jessi so much. Although she can come off as rude to others, she is just very honest and she keeps it real. At first I felt that whole thing she did in Unpretty Rapstar that became a hit was a bit too much, but after hearing the explanation I understand now why she felt that way. She has been through so much and rose to the top on her own and I'm proud of her. She is someone I look up to and respect.
Totally agree it really doesnt make sense that she will compete with a rookie when she have 10 years experience ! I really like her being true to herself she's not afraid to show who she really is i mean her personality she's very honest to what she feels
Am I the only one that loves Min Hyorin's flares? One of the reasons I became a fan of Hyorin is because of those flares. Please don't change your fashion sense to fit other people's tastes!
I had heard about Jessi's boxing dream, but the reveal of her parents totally caught me by surprise. And then I was sobbing again just like last episode. XD Well played, Sisters' Slam Dunk. Well played.
I'm hoping they will make a season 3 with the original cast members and help tiffany achieve her dream. She's so sweet its sad she was misinterpreted. Hoping all of them will be in season 3
@@venicereid2660 I think its because Tiffany at that time was at japan and posted a pic and had a rising sun emoji as a caption, which if I'm correct was the symbol Japan used when they colonized Korea, so Knets were angry and demanded her to leave the show
Especially knowing how damn supportive she was to the other Unnies, doing this show while also hving her own very busy solo schedule..makes it even more heartbreaking she didn't realise her dream💔
When every single cast member has shed tears in this show, when the director sheds tears while talking about a cast member's dream, when even some of the staff have shed tears witnessing Miran and Sook's on screen relationship, it leaves so little room for me to doubt the show's genuine intentions of exploring the stories of women going after their dreams with each other and making new ones. One of my favorite Korean shows--all TV shows--ever. The "scandals" so far are so trivial compared to the bigger picture of the impact this show strives to do.
And they continued to use her to get views and made her sing, but didn't show her much on camera. She should have just left the show - she didn't need the show. She only stayed to help Hyorin. That's what a great person she is. Pretty despicable of the show and media. The korean media has good control over it's people. The citizens don't even think for themselves
euga she left the show on her own will. They didn't kick her out. They didn't use her for views either. She didn't appear much because of her busy schedule and she did finish a little dream of hers. Please respect her decision and stop whining that she left. If you only watched the show for her, then don't watch it. There are plenty of other people who love the other sisters.
This is probably one of the most meaningful episodes ever❤ This episode was able to show that jessi is like us and has feelings. I hope people realize what Jessi is really like💖💖💖
Many people misunderstands Jessi and its so annoying people try to hate her without understanding her, yeah shes rough around the edges but shes very sweet and i'd rather an expressive person then an unexpressive person around me because they are people you can trust the most, not only that but shes loyal to her fans i remember her trying to pass the security guards trying to get to her fans off stage without any fear and she even tagged my friend in a post before you rarely see that nowadays
I love the fact that when they put the (Family Time) scene. For the members is their childrens and their parents. But for Tiffany is her members from Girls's Generation. As a sone, I'm grateful for that. Thank you so much.
Debbie Nguyen Tiffany didn't made public about her family's profile, except for her brother and sister-in-law who lives in the Philippines.. her appa's and her unnie's profile are still private.
I freaking love how Jessi's personality is not just what people saw during unpretry rapstar. Guys she wants to help puppies and other stranded animals COME ON!!! too cute
I really love this episode and you know what made me sad? The fact that I know that Tiffany never got to make her dream come true because of the famous mistake
Geri Ramirez just want to add, that it was not a regular japanese flag, but a rising sun flag. so, though it was sad she couldn't continue being in this show, the negative reaction was not just due to posting certain country's flag.
Bang Si-hyuk Hitman Bang shut the fuck up if u dont know abt korean history. That flag means same w the Nazism. if u dont understand korean history stop the fuck loving SNSD. educate urself dumbass
Aww Jessi 😂😭 it must have been so hard for her being alone in a country without her parents. She's such a strong lady, I can't imagine going thru what she did at such a young age
The cutest thing ever was when the "coach" started hitting Miran when they where sparring and Jessi steps between them and uses her body to push him away/block the blows he was aiming at Miran saying "no you can't hit her. You can't hit Miran"
37:43 "think of the person you want to hit, think of them and punch!" Okay who made Tiffany mad like that like she went straight for it and hit it real hard so yeah just drop the names...I just wanna talk
We see Jessi as someone who's really tough but inside her is someone with a really soft heart, longing for her family. She's an inspiration after all what she faced. That's why I love her. Jessi fighting! ☺☺☺
I cried so badly when Jessi talked about her parents and when her dad appeared. I am also touched when the members cried too even though they already knew beforehand. They are such good actresses, I couldn't even see through their lies. Guess I am bad at connecting the dots. Jessi is actually a very soft-hearted person. This programme really clears most people's misunderstanding towards Jessi. Jessi, stay strong! When Hyorin talks about JYP, I laughed so hard! LOL! 1:03:32
I’m watching season 1 right now. It’s so fun to watch. I hope they would revive the show with the original casts. Jessi, Tifanny, Hyo Rin, Sook, Mi Ran And Jin Kyung. I think they have the best chemistry. And it would be a hit again if they keep the original casts and do the show again. 👌👍😊
La Miran is totally a mother figure to everyone esp Tiffany.. I love how she always calls her “fany, fany, tiffany” 🥺 it’s like a mother calling to her fave daughter in da world
Watching this show for the first time. It's a shame Tiffany was kicked out of this show. Also, this episode was really emotional. I feel sorry for Tiffany because she doesnt have a Mom anymore and she and her Dad no longer have a communication for jow many years now. Imagine how hard it is for her and Jessi. 😢
I love how Jinkyung goes after Jessi and comforts her and how all the older unnies get so emotional too I can't help but feel it's because they're older they understand both what it means to be a daughter but also a mom/mother figure so it's especially touching.
I love this show, I love the members, and the whole concept of chasing your dreams is SO incredible inspiring so THANK YOU Jessi, Tiffany, Hyorin, Sook, Jinkyung & Miran. I love you all!
why did they have to play that song with jessi and her dad~ it was hard enough trying not to cry with the scene alone but that song just fucking hit me with the moment
This is my show, y'all. I wait for every new episode to come on Friday. I love them!! They make me laugh like crazy while making me cry at the same time 😂😂😂😭😍
OMG I'm crying a river here! & I'm not even wearing a waterproof mascara too!~~ Feels like I just watch a sad movie! This is why I love Unnies Slam Dunk! They are so supportive of each other & bring enjoyable laughs whenever I am feeling down! 😢😢😭😭😘😚💕 #UnniesFighting Saranghaeyo 😙
I love this show soo much. Everytime I see how idols and just anyone in general getting reunited with their parents it makes me emotional. One I will never forget is when Jackson from Got7 got to meet his parents again on the show Roommate that really had me crying. This time was no different, but I glad Jessi got reunited with her parents again. :)
58:25 When Jessie's father ask "It was hard right?" And she nodded..she really had been through many things and there was no one she could rely, she acts tough and locked her feelings inside but in front of her father she let it all out😭I felt the nod like🥺❤️
As soon as "the real coach" (Jessi's dad) hugged her for too long I knew it was someone that Jessi knew. When her dad took off the mask and we only saw his back I thought "wait can it be Jessi's dad?!?" and I was right. But, I had no idea that the others were involved in it and they were acting along. That was a real shock.
The moment when jessi met her parents was really touching thats for sure i cried as i watched this as well but idk for some reason i kept on thinking how fany would felt.. i mean i know her mother has passed away.. and she probably recalled the memories with her mother as well.. i'm sad imagining that perhaps, there might be those kind of sadness inside her when she saw jessi reunites with her parents...
Jessi saranghe I don’t know why she was found offensive but she is a warrior I freakin love her sorry I don’t usually cuss but she is like me I love her!!!😍😍😚🥰
This program gold . I am really thankful for the Director of this program. He is emotional, that's why he supported these girls dreams. Even it was small one. ❤️❤️❤️
😭😭😭😭 Can someone please explain why it took so long for Jessi to see her parents? Is it hard for them to travel to SK?..or Idols really hv no time/break for a short holiday to meet their families once in a while????😭😭😭🥺🥺 I understand it's harder when they're trainees.. The look of Jessie's dad face when he saw her😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ for him to pretend that long as well
It's cost a lot, unless if you are really successful person you hardly going home. Plus they are working as usual eventho they didn't hv any schedule. The holiday is too short to keep going back to forth
Well from Jessi' story, I really respect her for enduring all the hardship at the very young age.I also haven't met my father for 4 years till now and I know what Jessi really feels because I feel the same as she.
Ex 2d1n pd nim is really good at targeting people's hearts... i miss these kind of episodes in 2d1n... even if its a variety show, as a viewer you would still want to feel the touch of emotions from the members... pd nim please come back to 2d1n 😫😫
The only thing I've ever envied in life was a loving father-daughter relationship. I've never wanted something so bad in life..but I know it won't happen. I hope in my next life, I will be blessed with a loving father.
I ugly cried during this episode. It hits straight to the heart because my dad passed away a few years ago and I miss him so much. 😭😭😭 Sidenote: That fake boxer/actor/coach in the beginning was almost straight up assaulting the girls. That's why the director had to change it to that punching machine segment. I was so satisfied that Jessi's score was higher than his. Dude seemed like a wacko to me. smh.
When Jessi met her father that let me remebres 2 scenes about tiffany the first when she got a phone call from her father on her episode on MTV girls generation and when she talked about her lost of her mother on genie era on a TV show ... She s too came to Korea alone of age of 15 she wasn't a Korean speaker and live a on dormitory without family too she s too strong 😭
